I think this is the greatest salon I have ever been to! I just moved here from California and was hesitant about going after reading the latest review, but, I decided to go anyway because they had so many great reviews and they are very close to my house. Anyway, I had the greatest experience and walked away with the best color and cut that I have had in years! Everyone was so friendly and inviting...I had a glass of wine and chatted with my stylist who was awesome! It was a great experience and when I tried to share it with people, they already knew about them and go there also, so I wanted everyone to know through citysearch! Thanks Bang...I feel beautiful!

Pros: Everything is great!

I first found this salon two years ago (for some reason, the name of it is a banned word on Citysearch.) The stylist I saw for the first 8 or 10 months was outstanding. I loved every cut and color job she did, felt that she really listened to me, and whenever I left, I felt beautiful. Unfortunately she left to work at a different salon. The second stylist I had looked at herself in the mirror more than she looked at me - and I ended up with a patch of hair that was 2" longer than the surrounding hair. When I left, I couldn't notice it, but I was never able to get my hair to style correctly. When I tried to make a new appointment with her (where I intended to point out the issue,) I found that she had left as well. I tried on last stylist, but never really loved her work, and I couldn't afford the $85 haircuts from the one stylist who I observed doing consistently gorgeous work. I haven't been back to this salon in about 8 months - I have found a new place. It's a shame, because this salon was once really good, and now it seems that their inability to attract and retain creative, high-quality stylists is really getting in their way of continuing to do great work.

Pros: staff is usually friendly

Cons: unable to keep good stylists, lack of parking

Danielle is the most amazing colorist I have ever witnessed! She was so confident knew the right colors for my hair and I have received compliments from the moment I walked out of the salon! Ali who does lash extensions..Oh MY GOD..who heard of lash extensions? My lashes are long, naturally curled and absolutley perfect! Thank you girls and the Salon for making me look as my husband said "absolutley stunning."

"I just wanted you to know that I got back from Vegas a few days ago. While I was there I had my makeup done a few times. Each girl who did my face was blown away by the quailty of your work. They told the other artists to come look at my extensions - each one commented about how fantastic they looked, that even up close they could not see where the bonding was, and that they were the nicest they had ever seen! (and apparently they have seen quite a few) Thought you'd like to know..." JP

I recently went to Bangsalon and after reading the poor reviews regarding Marissa, was happy to hear that she is no longer there, so for all of you who stopped going there because of her, you can happily return! I too used to go to her, but now see Niki, who is an absolute delight as well as some of their other new stylists. I have chatted with many of the stylists there and think that they are all so friendly and obviously LOVE their job and how they are treated. Every place has a bad egg now and then, so cut them some slack and try another great stylist!

I went to try out the Salon and to be honest was a bit nervous trying a new salon and colorist,but I have to say when I got there I felt right at home and relaxed.They have an awesome new colorist from Atlanta and she does wonders.Calm relaxing conversation and quit the professional.Her name is Danielle and I highly recommend seeing her,she definetly knows what she is doing and is a pleasure to converse with.My hair has never had a better color!!! The Salon itself is very comfortable and all the staff seemed to be having fun and enjoying what they were doing.The ease of all the employees makes you feel like you have been there many many times before and helps you settle in if it's your first time there. I will be going back to see Danielle again.The Salon looks to have my business for a longtime to come.

Went to this Salon three times. First time I saw Stacy. She was very friendly and I got a good haircut. Second time, Stacy was on vacation so I saw Kristen. She was sick wtih a cold. It was apparent she wasn't feeling well. Third and final time, I saw Marissa. I found her to be unfriendly and unproffessional. She makes little effort to communicate with you. The majority of what she did say was negative gossip about coworkers. I was extremely uncomfortable with the conversation. The haircut was pretty good, but the color was not at all what I requested. After an extra hour of having her try to correct my color, I finally gave up. I thought they might have offered a slight price reduction for the color problems. but instead charged my card double. It took several calls to the Salon to get the extra charge credited back to my account. The first two or three calls they blamed it all on my bank stating it wasn't their mistake, only to find out my bank had nothing to do with it. No apology. I will not go back again. Unfriendly and overrated.

I Love BangSalon. They are the best. It is a must go to! Love it, love it, love it!!!!! You have to use the Kerastase products...they are totally worth the price!!!! My hair has never looked better.

I just had my hair done at BangSalon for the 3rd time and each time I have seen someone different. I LOVE IT! They are on top of everything. Everyone is so nice and I feel so comfortable going in there. It is always buzzing with energy and all the stylists always look great and seem like they are having so much fun. I can tell that all of the clients are happy because everyone is always laughing and having a great time...the way it should be when you go to get your hair done. All of the stylists are very confident in their work and are very professional. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks to BangSalon for making me feel beautiful and for hooking me up with a great style!

I really love the way Marissa cuts my thick, wavy hair (although I was NOT happy with what she did to my bangs this last time - they were shredded and just didn't lay right). However, to me she is very unfriendly. She doesn't talk at all and I just feel completely uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, I don't need or necessarily like chatty stylists, but Marissa doesn't even attempt to make conversation. The rest of the staff is pretty friendly, but whenever I go to see Marissa, I feel like I am inconveniencing her in some way! I have one more appointment scheduled and will make my final determination from there. She definitely needs to polish up on her customer service skills.
