User Reviews for Linda Beutner Associates

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I have enjoyed working with Linda very much. After working with several other designers who were stuffy, opinionated and even arrogant, I find working with Linda to be very refreshing. Her style and taste are right on the mark as is her personality. Working with Linda has turned out to be not only very productive, but fun and quite easy. Our house is finally coming together, thank you Linda!

Pros: very easy to work with, cost-conscious when necessary, great ideas

Cons: sometimes she can run a little late, she will always call but you may be waiting an extra 10 mintues

This is a rebutal to the review by nancyschell. Nancy is is violation of the citysearch review guidelines. She received no goods or services. She is reviewing a free meeting I had with her which obviously did not go well. I did not charge her for the meeting nor did I sell her anything. She is attacking me on a personal level using inflamatory and insulting words like "crass"' '. I consider this defamation of character. She elected to wait the 5 weeks for the free meeting. I also called her to tell her I was running late. I have been in business 30 plus years and it amazing to me that a bad review is based of an hour of free meeting and not on my design projects of many years. I have hundreds of satisfied clients who have employed me since 1972. Their names would be available on request.

Linda Beutner and Roy Herberg have more design talent in their pinkies then most people have in their entire bodies. They have been in business since the 70s, and their experience really shows in their work. An interior designer could never stay in business that long, unless they are good at what they do. Both Linda and Roy are extremely patient, caring, and kind individuals. Working with them is a true joy. They can make recommendations that you would have never thought of and that completely change a room. They are both truly talented. Roy and Linda helped my husband and I with our 8400 square foot home in Castle Rock with everything from A-Z: structual design, kitchen layout, carpet, paint colors, beams in the ceiling and furniture. The only designers to work with. FIVE BIG STARS!!

Pros: Everything!

Cons: Because they are highly creative, they can sometimes lose track of time and run a little late.

Linda Beutner has been a complete joy to work with - her style complements ours and the design works well. She suggested many ideas above and beyond what others suggested, such as beautiful crown molding on the ceiling of our dining room.

I called Linda to help me finish decorating some spaces in my house. It took five weeks just to get her to come to my house and take a look at the project. Once she did finally make it (45 minutes late of our appointment time) she just complained and criticized everything in my house. She was extremely unprofessional and crass. I can't imagine anyone wanting to work with this woman. I would not recommend anyone wasting their time giving this design firm even a phone call. There are better designers out there.

Pros: None

Cons: Everything

At first I was delighted by the design and work done on my house. The designer we worked with, Roy, is creative and knowledgable. The problems came later as things started to break and/or go wrong. Our calls went unreturned, faxes ignored. We have a major problem with a custom cabinet that was built for our bathroom that is unresolved and its been over four months since we brought the problem (wood is warped) and we are looking into mediation. Worse yet, if my husband or I got Roy on the phone, he would lie to us and tell us that the issue was close to resolution (new wood was ready, etc). Then we would talk to the contractor, who we love, and it turned out the wood was not ready and in fact Roy was not even returning his calls! We tried escalating to Linda, the owner, but no response from her either. This is beyond frustrating to us, particurlary as we paid for all of the work done within weeks of completion. Don't work with this firm.

Pros: great design

Cons: if something goes wrong you are on your own.
