Great place - highly recommended!. Under new ownership and management (well, sort of new - since about 2007/2008), this place is hugely improved. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent.

Very nice people, and a great place to have some outstanding Italian food without spending too much.  View Less

best italian in denver. Brunos' location is very hidden in a quiet unassuming shopping center at the corner of Evans and Monaco. But don't let the lack of traffic stop you from heaing that way and having some of the best homemade italian food you've ever tasted! Everything is made fresh per order by the chef and owner, Nick. My favorite dish is the veal saltimbocca with delectable tender veal, mortadella, and gnocci. YUM! His staff is incredible, friendly, and on the ball with everything. And Nick makes sure to stop by each table to ask how the meal was. All in all, I will be going back!  View Less View More

Amazing Food. A friend of mine suggested that I go to Bruno's if I want to have great Italian food. So I did go there with my brother and was amazed, the food and service was really good, the decor was to nice for a neighborhood place but its really good and that's why I took my date there.

first time I had the Chicken and Sausage with Creamy Marinara which was the best, the second time with my date i wanted to be more fancy so I ordered Chicken Parm Siciliano and was amazed again. I will be going back every time I want Italian food, and I recommend it to anyone.  View Less

Very enjoyable dinner. As party of 5, we had diinner there about 2 weeks ago. The food and service was excellent. I read all the other reviews & do not fully understand complaints. I do understand how in small place certain items can run out like a special wine or meat. Everything we had was well prepared favorful and served politely. Each person in our group eats out 1 to 2 times a week. There was not one complaint at table.  View Less View More

Disappointing service, food, atmosphere. There was a smoke in indoors part of the restorant. The waiter kept coming back with "sorry, we ran out of this". They could not get the bottle of the wine listed on their menu. Finally, the waiter said that ran out of the lamb. The salad was not fresh, with musty tomato and old lettuce. There were traces of lipstick on one of the glasses. The pasta was not good either. Overall, a very disappointing experience.  View Less View More

Hale and hearty Italian fare in an atmosphere that evokes "Lady and the Tramp"'s sweet dining scene.. In Short
The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, especially for a strip mall eatery. The decor features large posters of comely, buxom women; plastic grapes and vines; and, at night, dozens of small candles. For lunch, there's a daily brodo, a large bowl of broth filled to bursting with pasta, julienne vegetables and chopped, fresh spinach. The dinner menu features penne Mona Lisa, strips of chicken tossed with al dente penne in a spicy tomato-cream sauce.  View Less View More

Not "The Best". Went there because we'd heard reviews that this was one of Denver's Best Italian. Not so. Bread was cold and hard, the "meat"balls we bad. Sauces had no flavor, very bland. Too expensive for what you get. Service was nice, and atmosphere was plesant, but it's not enough to make me go back.  View Less View More

Yuck!. I was very disappointed on the whole experience. The food tasted like a warmed up frozen TV dinner. The place was not crowed, and having only one waiter isnt a good thing. The owner was rude and I'm not sure how he stays in business with his poor management and people skills. I wouldnt bother with eating at this place again, there are plenty of better Italian restaurants around town.  View Less View More

Poor food, service, and atmosphere. After experiencing mind-numbingly slow service in a cheap, strip-mall atmosphere, I was insulted by the manager for having the apparent audacity to issue a complaint.

I'd eaten here several times in the past, and been generally pleased with the food (lamb shanks and raviolis are outstanding), so I ignored the poor service that has always seemed consistent, but on my last visit, the food was bad as well.  View Less
