The best of the best
by CSMobileUser3
Amazing adventure in town. Never have I been more relaxed in such a short period of time. Kind staff and carefree environment. I have been to many other places and this is by far my favorite. Great prices and services were well worth every penny. Best facial, massage and pedicure I have ever experienced
Lack of support for fellow stylists
by Qtop1
It is very ironic that most of the front desk personnel and the majority of the spa technicians have their hair "done" outside of Lumiere. What does this say about Lumiere? Are their hairstylists not capable of taking care of their co-workers? Do the owners support their own hair salon or do they take their business elsewhere? It makes me wonder, why should I keep supporting Lumiere when their own employees do not support the salon. I do like the stylist I go too. I just don't understand the lack of support for the salon from their fellow co-wokers.
- Pros: great parking,
- Cons: seems to be some discord within the salon and spa
Five years with Lumiere and no desire to look elsewhere!
by tk1234
The staff treats you like a friend. Farah gives the best manicures and pedicures that I have had in 30 years! The atmosphere is pretty, but not pretentious. The people are friendly and professional. The location (in Tamarac Square) is convenient and parking is easy. If you are fortunate enough to get an appointment with Farah, you will be relaxed and pampered, yet she is almost always on time. Once you find a spot at which you feel at home, you do not want to look elsewhere.
- Pros: Great service, easy parking
- Cons: None that I can think of
Love Lumiere!
by MLanphier
I love Lumiere! I moved here from Chicago about 7 years ago and was definitely on a search for a great place just like Lumiere where I could go regularly for the routine general maintenance primping. I wound up finding something much better. Lumiere is located super conveniently in Tamarac Square. Right away, I met Alita, one of the owners. She is amazing. She gives great attention to detail (eyebrows) and really knows what she is doing. She has given me the best facials ever and really knows what products are the best for me. When I first started seeing her, my eyebrows were super skinny due to some bad waxing. Through time, she has completely fixed them and they look great. More recently Meg started working for the salon. She is a complete artist when it comes to hair. Every nice occasion that I attend, you bet that I am there to see Meg for an updo. I don't even have to bring her a picture...she impresses me every time with her creativity and skill. She also has an amazing vision for style and color! Alita, Meg and the rest of the staff there that I have seen are GREAT at what they do. They are also super friendly and really care about the clientele. The product that the salon uses for spray tanning is super; it is the only product that I have tried that doesn't turn my skin orange. I have also gone to them for spa mani/pedis and massage which have also been great. They are also very reasonably priced for such a great spa. Check them out...you won?t be disappointed!
Outstanding--Best day spa in Denver
by Haley789
I've been going to Lumiere for two years now and I couldn't be happier with it. The front desk is fabulous (they know the majority of the clientele by name) and the services are excellent and affordable. Each esthetician, nail tech and massage therapist I've been to is experienced, talented and just plain delightful. The location and parking are way convenient too. I just had the Sugar polish for the first time last week....totally amazing...highly recommend it!
Will Never Go There Ever Again and You Should Not Go There Ever!!!

The staff is rude and cold and down right un-pleasant to be around. The service is terrible and they are not good at what they do Terrible facials and massage. The owner was rude when I tried to talk to her.
I will tell all my friends to aviod this place!!! Do not waste your time!
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Staff is TERRIBLE as is the owners!!!
Friendly Spa & Excellent Service!
by pierogi222
I've recently moved to Denver from Los Angeles, and was looking for a decent spa/salon for regular grooming and maintenance. I've seen it all, from the foo-foo to the little hole-in-the-wall types, so nothing really surprises me.
Lumiere is a winner, especially if you live in the SE area of the city, and don't want to shlep down to LoDo or deal with Cherry Creek insanity. It's well-run by a friendly and down-to-earth staff, and kept incredibly clean. Prices are reasonable, and service is excellent. Alita takes care of my skin, and she's outstanding. She's also knowledgeable about products and treatments while NOT giving you the hard sell to buy X cream or Y serum. (This has always been a personal peeve of mine, and you won't find it here.)
I've also gotten a nightmare of a previous haircut fixed at Lumiere fixed by Julie, and had many satisfactory mani/pedis by various technicians. I like the option of the "Express Mani/Pedi" which offers a quick clean-up and polish if your schedule is tight.
The massages are also incredibly therapeutic if you're prone to back and neck problems, or in my case, chronic migraines. I especially recommend Courtney, who's pretty intuitive about muscle cramps and knots.
My only suggestion would be please, please upgrade those scary worn out sandals! I bring my own little pair of flip-flops to my appointments.
Otherwise, thumbs-up all the way. This spa is really a hidden gem.
This place is beautiful!

Everytime I come here it is a lovely experience. From the down to earth staff and managers to the excellent services, I love it! I actually fell asleep during my last facial...it was so relaxing! The prices are decent and the staff is highly skilled and personable.
- Pros: Friendly staff, great facials
- Cons: difficult location
They don't know much about hair color
by katyanewton
I just had a really bad experience at a hair salon at Lumiere Day Spa & Salon. I came in to get highlights but the hairdresser insisted for me to get an all over color (I am naturally dark blond and used to get blond highlights). So now I practically look bold, because the hair color is lighter then my skin. I look like a ghost. Meanwhile when we were done she just kept saying "oh you look beautiful". She must really have bad taste. Never coming back again.
- Pros: parking
- Cons: not much of professional expertise

In Short
This French-themed spa's facade fronts a comfy environment where guests patter around in cloth flip-flops and thick cottony robes. An attractive, clean locker room offers lotions and products to sample. Before arriving at this interior sanctum, visitors pass a bustling salon and a check-in area/boutique. Massage therapists with a range of experience perform everything: Swedish, hot-stone massages, Reiki energy rejuvenators and more.
