50's Theme Restaurant by JM J. at InsiderPages
Contributor at Insider Pages
Modelled after a 50's roadside diner this restaurant serves good serviceable diner food. The menu focuses on standard breakfast items including eggs, breakfast meats, hashbrowns, and pancakes all served efficiently by a well trained staff. The decor at this restaurant includes a full sized body from a 50's vintage sports car, American of course.

Talk about De Ja Vu. This place has it. The restaurant is fun to walk around and look at all the different memorabilia. The food is good and priced reasonably. Great atmosphere along with the music.
- Pros: Great ambiance.
- Cons: Turn the heat up
Kids and grown-ups alike can get their kicks in this '50s-minded malt shop re-creation. Richie and Potsie would be proud.

In Short
Addicts of sock-hop culture, vintage cars and rock and roll come here for waitresses in poodle skirts, Jerry Lee Lewis and Bill Haley on the jukebox, and retro dining. Sure, the Eisenhower-era schtick is a little corny. But families, kiddie groups and boppers of all ages can dig it, man. The menu consists of basic drive-in fare--burgers, fries, patty melts, Reubens and clubs--and entrees of fried chicken, meatloaf, pot roast and other American classics.
Great Diner! Gotta Go

This cute lil diner was the best bargain in town. We stayed at a hotel close by in Cherry Creek and decided to stop by for a burger. They do GREAT hamburgers! The customer service was over the top. They were just closing when we dropped in and still took our order. We were so pleased we came back for their AWSOME breakfast. I highly recommend Gunther Toody's. Great Food/ Great Service!
Great Diner for Breakfast

From the outside you can't tell it hides an interior from the bobby sock, poodle skirt era. There are pinball machines and red leather booths. The best thing about this place was the food. It was so good we went two days in a row for breakfast. I had the biscuits with sausage gravy and my husband had the Rascal, which was a large pancake breakfast. My breakfast did not come with meat (just biscuits, gravy, eggs and hash brown) so I got a side of bacon one morning and side of ham the following. Both the meat and eggs were cooked just as ordered. My husbands eggs were also perfect (over medium).
Of course you're probably saying, how can they mess up breakfast...but I have been to places that have.
- Pros: fast service, good food, great value
consistently good

The 50's motif wears thin after couple visits, but food is always good 'ol diner food, inexpensive & plentiful. Never had a bad meal. Excellent breakfasts! Kids will enjoy, adults can relax. Definitely not 'dress up' atmosphere. Servers very friendly & fast. Can get kinda loud sometimes, but on the whole, lots of fun with actually edible food.
- Pros: fast, cheap, very decent food, you'll go back
