Every time I reach for my favorite sweater I am amazed at what a great value it turned out to be. Over the years it has stood the test of time as I have worn it more than any thing else in my closet. This wonderful boutique offers clothing that seems to be more of an investment then some trendy throw away. Check out the "Burning Torch" knits. I am about to make my third purchase. Great clothes that last for years!
Pros: Great Customer Service

What a store. Artistic timeless beautiful fashions that you just don't see anywhere. I don't know how they put it together so well. I want everything!

Colors, textures, and styles oh my! The best place to enhance my existing wardrobe. Working with these people has taught me how to dress in a way that I never thought possible. Having them tell me that I need to "step out of the box" has brought my style to a new level! I applaud you Knit Wit for kind service and impeccable taste, I am a customer for life!
Pros: Quality, selection, service!
Cons: no online shopping:(

IMy experience in this store is that the salespeople are arrogant and mean spirited. Most local women in Boulder have been offended by them and refuse to shop there. We have been told that our purses are too big (we could hid items) that our baby strollers aren't allowed because we could hide items there. One woman was told that she was told too fat for their clothes, several of us have been accused of being from other stores and tryiing to steal their lines. There are many other lovely establishments in Boulder where you are treated with dignity and respect and we choose those establishments, like Weekends or Christina's.
Pros: no
Cons: terrrible sales staff

As a young professional on a budget, I find the clothes here over priced and too trendy for my job. But the biggest turn off is the rude sales staff that act like I am not worthy of their attention or their clothes. When I walked in a salesperson looked me up and down and seemed to have decided that I was not worth her time. I grew up in Boulder. I thought we were more evolved than that. I have never been treated with disdain like this in any other store anywhere.
Pros: none
Cons: rude and snotty salespeople

As a 1996 CU alumni, I had the occasion to return to my old haunts in Boulder for the first time since graduating. On the top of my list was to see if my favorite store, Knit Wit was still in existence. Not only was it still in the same place, but I was so impressed by the manner in which it had been able to reinvent itself after all these years. Needless to say, now as an adult with a good paying job, I had the time of my life finding unbelievably unique things! I AM A SHOPPER and know whats out there and believe me nothing can compare to this place. Now I can go back to the Bay Area with better clothes than I can find at home! Thanks Knit Wit, I needed some retail therapy!!!
Pros: fun fun fun!

I have been shopping at Knit Wit for 15 yrs. I realize I have a choice and in fact sometimes intiate my search for an outfit at other stores, but I always end up finding just what I like at Knit Wit. I constantly ask myself "why didn't I come to Knit Wit in the first place?!" The style of the clothing is just a step above any thing else out there and the service is impeccable! I usually end up with more than I was looking for because the sales person "just knows" what would look great on me! I don't know how the do it, but they always manage to keep me coming back for more. Highly recommended!
Pros: Service, and taste level
Cons: Parking

Every fall I clean out my closet. If I haven't worn it in a year it's time to give it away. The only clothes that seem to never get discarded are those that I have purchased at Knit Wit. When I shop there I'm always worried that the styles I choose are too trendy or "edgy". Even though their prices are high I find myself wearing the stuff for years. I'm totally sold on this boutique. Although not for everyone, I would highly recommend Knit Wit to any one interested in dressing in beautiful unique timeless fashion!
Pros: Amazing service and taste level
Cons: High prices Parking not to easy to find

I love shopping in boutiques! And today was no exception when I went to Knit Wit looking for an outfit for my cousin's graduation from Columbia University . Here I was looking fine in my "Boulder clothes" knowing full well that I would stick out like a sore thumb in New York City. The sales person could not have been more knowledgeable about what would be appropriate for the occassion. She was able to offer me lots of choices from numerous designers, one better than the next. We settled on a look that was simple but good looking and most important an outfit that I fit my personality. What a relief to be able to look good and feel comfortable at the same time. I really appreciated the sincere help that I received today. It made my hectic life as a mother and full time teacher just that much easier.
Pros: down to earth service
Cons: not cheap

I have just returned from yet another marvelous experience at Knit Wit and would like to say a few words about my favorite place to shop while in Boulder. I have called Colorado my home for most of my life although I have lived in various countries throughout Europe and travel extensively all over the world. When I return to Boulder, one of my most enjoyable outings is to visit Knit Wit. I can always rely on them for chic, timeless pieces and priceless, style savvy knowledge that I can trust. My profession requires me to travel around the world and while I have my own unique style, I have little time to worry about shopping. I can depend on the great assistance at Knit Wit to make sure I look great for every occasion, no matter where in the world I may be. If you are a woman on the go, such as myself and love beautiful clothes, this is truly a five star boutique.
Pros: incredible clothes, great service
Cons: Parking
