I can't figure out why our hotel recommended this place

I think this might be OK if you are looking for a bar, but not a restaurant. The service was slow, the food mediocre, and the view from the back patio was of a parking lot, but you could see a little bit of a mountain. We were told this was a good place for kids, but it's not. They have a kids' menu, but the food just wasn't that great. Overall, I just wasn't impressed at all.
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Bad food and service
