We used to tak e our four boys years ago to Dr. Michael Starbuck. They moved their location, our first appointment we were lost and because we were so late they had us reschedule. We called back to reschedule for out youngest and they stated it was their policy not to reschedule should you miss and appointment. Our three other kids had already been seen there (they could not even get two appointments together) which meant we had to switch all of our children (we were not going to keep the other three boys at a different Dr). The times we went there withthe other three we waited for over an hour. Dr. Michael in the past was at least fun with the kids, cant say the same as he had no enthusiasm whatsoever during the appointments. When we switched my husband called to see if the doctor would return a phone call and he never returned any messages we left for him. We switched to Indian Crest Pediatrics, they are fast, freindly with a plesant kids friendly wait area. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND APA TO ANYONE!! =(

Dr. Michael and staff are great! They are very kid friendly, treat each child individually, and are very thorough. We are never rushed through appointments. They are great at scheduling ample time so that the doctor will spend quality time on your concerns w/o rushing or making other patients wait too long. We have had great experiences with all the staff at Arvada Pediatrics. Dr. Michael excels at making a child feel at ease and comfortable while ensuring that he is thorough with each child's exam. My children actually look forward to their next visit at the office.
Pros: kid friendly office and staff, offers free info pamphlets appropriate w/ child's age, returns calls in timely manner
Cons: phone lines can be busy at peak times (i.e. Monday morning)

Dr. Michael is awesome. I moved here from California where we had an HMO and the pediatrician was so cold and distant, but I felt an immediate connection between my child and Dr. Starbuck the minute he walked into the examining room. My daughter is pretty shy, but he made her laugh and feel pretty comfortable in a not so comfortable environment.
Pros: friendly, helpful, supportive

Dr. Michael is AWESOME with kids! He takes the time to explain things to the kids, and he also respects their feelings and fears!!! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!!

Dr. Starbuck is so good with children. He puts my daughter, 5 years old and very nervous about any doctor's appt., at ease very easily. He's the best!
Pros: Clean, Minimal waiting time, Very friendly
