Hi, I have eaten here through out the past few years. I personally enjoy IT. Ok so it's not all fancied up or its not all happy family jump for joy place. I think the staff is nice. I think that the food is swell. Its mexican food! How can you expect it not to be greasy? A nice variety of entrees. Also i love the chips and salsa. Its always hard to find a good mexican resturant. One that has good food. Not that fake mexican stuff. Well this is one of the few i have found. It is a very calm relaxing resturant. Nice quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and they deliver! What more can you ask for? Trust me I liked it A LOT! Enjoy!

The day started bad. I took the last cup of coffee at work and didn't refill it. My boss walked in next and new it was me since I was standing right there with my hot cup. Then I was a rude to the lady at the grocery store who was in training and took forever. Finally to top if off, my girlfriend ordered delivery from here and I am ill in my stomach region. So Karma lady, if you are out there--I will never not refill the coffee, and I will never be a unkind to anyone standing at a register. But please--don't ever make me eat from here again. Update, my girlfriend said this was still bad Karma and I am changing my rating since she liked it Update update.....man this dude came to us in the snow. I was starving...Mexican rules!! I

Pros: Who delivers in the blizzard!!!

Cons: Karma catches up with you

I did enjoy my food. It was not Mexican, more Colorado style-very tastey. Here are my comments: 1. Remember to tell your staff not all gringos do not understand Spanish. I would have said something but I just won't go back. 2. The greeter gentleman was welcoming when we walked in, and when we left. But he doesn't talk to the waitresses to nice or to his kitchen helpers. Maybe it was his wife and that's how he talks to her, maybe he doesn't care for woman-but I didn't like it one bit. Besides that I thought the food was good. No complaints.

Pros: Tastey

Cons: Bad vibrations

Are you serious with the ranking of the places? Who does it? Is can not be people eating there. We ate here and it was awful!!! I was so hungry I ate it and I lived to regret it. I can't get how it is listed on the Best Of page, if I had gone in further in and read reviews I would have realized that I should stear clear of this place. The past five or six reviews are right on target. The only one thing I can say with all confidence is I will never subject my friends to this "so called" Mexican again. I dig hole in the walls, but PLEASE---7-11 burritos at 4 am are better. If this is a family place where is the FAMILY FEELING? It so dull....and the food does not make up for it. Don't believe me, go eat here yourself. There is alo no beer or margaritas served at all. We got some lame answer as to why. It is about as warm as a Broncos game on a snown night. I am so mad at this site for it's rankings, I will only rely on word of mouth from now on.

I have eaten at this little spot 2 times. It was not that bad. I really enjoyed this fresh made tortilla chips and the tomato salsa. It is a little plane but it is a family owned place. They treated us real nice.

Pros: This spot is alright

Cons: No beer

Our family is changing our review. Durring the last couple snow storms, we had delivery twice. It was fantastic. And my wife did not go the the store so I am not sure what we would have fed the kids. They have my loyalty again.

Pros: They delivered in the snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: Can't find any right now.

Did someone actually recommend this place? This is not Mexican food, this isn't even an attempt at it. The food was awful and it smelled like sewer. The waitress was nice, but the manager has no people skills -- but at least someone is eating the food and it's him. This place won't be in business long.

Pros: We got out alive.

Cons: It stinks..and not just the food.

We went to this place expecting great food after reading the reviews. If this is the fourth best mexican restaurant in Denver, we're in trouble. The food is not good. The chips were dripping with grease and the sauce was just gross. The decor is beyond plain. It's about as fun as eating at the cafeteria at work. Service was okay but not great. Definitely a disappointment. I would rate it one of the worst places for Mexican that I've been to in Denver.

Cons: ambience, food, service

I eat at Mi Cocina for lunch every time I am on this side of town for business. I know I can stop in and get what I ordered fast and without the hassle of bad service. Everything I've had has been yummy - no complaints here. Definitely would recommend and take friends with.

Pros: fast service

Cons: small parking lot

I was playing around in City Search, seeing some reviews I agree with, and some I don't. I just read this last persons review on this little Mexican place, and I was thinking: "Who tinckled in your wheeties?" Lot's of places don't serve alcohal first off. I like that. I can take my kids to dinner and don't have to worry about drunk people at this family place. Next, I like their chips. I love knowing they just made it. This little place has always treated my family very well. They even have the game on every now and then. Way to go for the small business owners. They have my businees.

Pros: Family place~no drunks

Cons: No big tv's
