Best Thai Food in Denver
by kencope at Citysearch
The ambience is nicer in the new location, although to be honest we hate that our little secret is out now and we have to share it with everyone else. Staff is always friendly, prices can't be beat, and the food is amazing. We've eaten Thai food all over the U.S., and this is simply the best we've had. Nobody makes a better Panang curry, period. Save some room for the mango & sticky rice dessert. Enjoy!
Inconsistent
by Ian76 at Citysearch
The quality of food and service is completely inconsistent. At times we have enjoyed our food very much. Other times we have waited absurd amounts of time for our food. Our most recent experience included an overly sweet curry. I was only able to eat half of it - after a few minutes I felt like I was eating dessert. We gave them many chances, but we are now looking for a better place.
Love their Red Curry
by yvonnedenver at Citysearch
Fast service, in and out in less than 10 minutes. I ordered Red Curry, it was good. they added fried Tofu which ads calories but was good.
- Pros: Curry is perfect, not to hot and has a sweetness to it
- Cons: not enough vegetables, i would have prefered to have eggplan
The food is awesome- but it is family run..

This is the best Thai in Denver- their panang curry is to die for. And their peanut sauce is excellent. Moving from CA I was dissapointed in all the generic thai that existed- nothing had flavor. You can choose your spicy level so let them know! Also they use all white meat chicken- no funky pieces to pick through.
If you are looking for generic Thai this is NOT the place for you. The new location has less seats than the old location and service can be excellent or lacking. It is family run, so it isnt run like a chain- be patient and you will be impressed! The awards are there for a reason!
- Pros: Food
- Cons: service
Unimpressed, despite the show of awards on their walls

When I got to the restaurant, I waited to be seated by the one waitress on duty who questioned, "By yourself?" I guess maybe I was a little sensitive, but honestly, I felt judged in a not so good way for attempting to eat alone.
Anyway, I was brought to a dirty booth, and though she thought a minute to seat me at another one, she ended up deciding to just wipe off the table in the corner behind the dirty aquarium. She didn't dry the table, however; so, my dinner napkin was sopping, and I couldn't put the book I had brought on the table for fear the pages face the same fate.
I ordered the red curry with pumpkin thinking that it was a rare find on a menu. It was all right. The dish didn't seem different from other red curry I've had save for one bite of what I could make out to be pumpkin.
The restaurant wasn't super busy, but the waitress was taking time to eat her own meal in between checking on me and the other four tables. I had to get up to ask for a to-go box and the check.
I'd rather eat at Thai Flavor, with it's cheesier decor and friendlier service.
- Pros: Unprofessional waitress
- Cons: menu with pumpkin curry
They should outlaw sugar in Thai food
by nacazo at Citysearch
I don't how is it in Thailand but this is one thing that diminishes the taste.
This place was ok. The Thai figurines and pictures in the wall look nice but nothing out of the ordinary.
The food was good priced. The flavors were all there but the sugar? I don't know if they'retrying to mask the spiciness or what but I hated it.
The tom yang goon (sp?) soup was there with the taste but the sugar ruined it. The fish was there with the taste but the sugar ruined it. I've had it before without the sugar in other thai places so don't tell me it cannot be done.
There's a lot of potential here.
- Pros: price, taste is there + sugar
- Cons: sweet flavor.
Not impressed

We went to Thai House because of the reviews that we read on Citysearch and that it was voted best Thai food 2006. Well, we were not impressed. We got there and waited a while, but never got waters or menus, and had to get our own menus. We then waited for at least 10 minutes just to get our orders/waters. We were there for almost an hour before we even got our entrees. We didn't think the food was that great either. Overall, our experience was not pleasant and we would not go back there again.
- Pros: Ambience
- Cons: Service

Restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere at reasonable prices.
Nice new location!!
by denverduck at Citysearch
They're in a new place at 80th x Sheridan, next to Subway on the NorthWest corner. It's a very nice new location. Not funky at all. I've eaten at the new location once. The service was quick and friendly. My friend who is a connoisseur of Thai food gave them the Thumbs Up!
- Pros: easy parking, easy access from hwy 36 sheridan exit, sunny, nice ambience, great food
- Cons: nothing else interesting in this neighborhood unless you need something at king soopers...
Best in Denver
by jwag at Citysearch
I am a Thai junky. I've eaten Thai food from Frankfurt, Germany to Orange County, CA and a lot of places in-between. The long-awaited good press for this place is right on - Thai House counts as one of the best, and is the best I've had in Denver. I love the red curry, though they tend to make it milder than most - I order it "medium-hot" and it's just about right. Their Tom Yum Goong can't be beaten anywhere! NOTE: THEY ARE CURRENTLY MOVING THEIR LOCATION just up the street to 84th and Sheridan, so call ahead and see if they've opened yet before going.
- Pros: Food, value, service
- Cons: None. (They're out of the old strip mall!)
