Th'ink Tank is the best Tattoo shop I have ever been to. Had a cover up done by Patrick, he is the most professional tattoo artist I have ever met. His passion, for the work that he does, is so very obvious. He was able to draw the most amazing tattoo, from just a few suggestions that I gave him. The entire shop was full of friendly, upbeat, and fun personalities. I cant wait to go back!! Had to wait 4 weeks to get in, but it was absolutely worth the wait.
Pros: professional staff, great personalities, excellent skills, outstanding artists

I am fortunate to have 3 tattoos by Patrick at Th'ink Tank. These are custom creations drawn by Patrick based on my description of what I wanted and they are beautiful! I get compliments on them all the time with everyone asking where I got my tattoos. Patrick is incredibly talented, extremely professional, and makes the whole process easy. This is not your typical walk in, pick a design off the wall kind of operation. When you go, be prepared to describe what you want and the artists here will create something beautiful and one of a kind. It can take 3 weeks or more to get an appointment, but it is worth it! The quality of work and beautiful artwork is amazing. I can't wait to go back to get another tattoo from Patrick!
Pros: Custom one of a kind artwork by the best in Denver
Cons: Limited parking but who cares?

My boyfriend and I came to Think Tank to get his first, and my second, tattoo after several stellar reviews from other employees at our work, a lot of whom have gotten many designs done there. Patrick did both of our tattoos, and did an absolutely amazing job from consolation to finished design. He was more than accommodating in redrawing designs, moving the stencil around, etc. On the day we were both scheduled, we ran out of time, and he offered to come in on Monday (they are closed Mondays), to do mine. Awesome guy, awesome designs, awesome service. We will definitely be back, and sending friends this way!
Pros: Great artists, parking
Cons: none!

A few months ago I started contemplating covering a tattoo I got during college during a lapse in judgment. My old tattoo had virtually no creativity or style. It was out of proportion to the location on my back and the lines were remedial at best. In short, I hated it. However, I was nervous about coupling one mistake with another 20 years later. I made the decision to get together with Patrick and discuss my needs. Patrick has unbelievable talent and creativity. In addition, he is able to translate nebulous requirements into amazing results. I have been pleased enough to get two tattoos from Patrick and expect that I will visit him again in the not too distant future. Beyond his skill level as an artist, Patrick displays great professionalism. He is not judgmental about the requests of his clients but tries to guide them and add the perspective he has from years of experience. Thank goodness for this because I am not particularly creative. All of the people at ThinkTank were really cool. I enjoyed the experience greatly and would recommend to anyone serious that they visit one of the Tattoo Artists there. Thanks Patrick.
Pros: Great People & Great Atmosphere
Cons: ?

I had my first tat done this past weekend at the Tank & I can't stop telling people about my experience! At the first consult, I met Mr. Patrick Shackley & gave him some design ideas I had. Upon meeting Patrick, I was immediately comfortable - he was extremely personable, listened to my ideas & open to answering any questions I had. The second consult was a day before my appointment where I came to see the designs Patrick created. Since everything at this shop is custom, you know you're getting something that is unique & personally meaningful to you. The sketch Patrick created for me was so intricate & detailed, incorporating all the ideas I'd mentioned to him. It was amazing... for someone who does usually curse, I left there telling my friends the design was f*cking awesome! The day of my appt. Patrick took his time in placing the trace paper just right on my lower back & made sure I was happy with the placement & size. He showed me the sterilized equipment, sealed & fresh out of the enclave as he set up & explained everything to me as he was doing it since this was my first tat. Patrick asked me throughout the process how I was doing & completely put me at ease. About three hours later, I was ink'd with a gorgeous butterfly & flower design on my lower back. Patrick took his time & really blended the colors so they look realistic & compliment each other, rather than looking "cheesy" like I'd heard some colored tats can be. I've since received endless compliments on the detail & beauty of my tat & I've been handing out Shackley's card like candy. Long story short... if you're looking for a place to get ink'd, talk to Shackley at the Tank. His artistry, professionalism & way with people can't be beat. The cubes are open so if you're modest about other people seeing you, get over it. If you love your tat like I love mine, show 'em some love & tip your tat artist! Shackley is the bomb!

The talented Adam Rosenthal did my large lotus/cherry blossom tattoo and it turned out amazingly! He is an incredible artist and it shows in the detail and brilliant color of my tattoo. The shop is clean and professional, and as with all good shops, touch-ups are included so they are sure to get your tat perfect! I highly recommend Think Tank!

Truly gifted artisits work at Think Tank Tattoo. Great people, great business, and great experience. Mr. Patrick Shackley did an amazing belt peice that took about 20 hours (not all at once of course). The vision was right on and the efficiency that the work was done in was exceptional. As the customer it was always professional and I was made to feel comfortable. The banter amongst the artists is entertaining.....you must be lite-hearted though. This outfit is serious about their work so you should be too. Patrick made this a lot of fun for me and I am looking forward to my next visit. If I would have known it was this much fun I would have been in a lot sooner. Stop by....you won't be dissappointed. ps this was my first tattoo.

This is not the place to go if you want an off the wall tattoo, these guys are artists. Patrick did a piece from shoulder to shoulder and it is beautiful. When people see it they ask who did the art, and I hand out his card like crack on colfax. If you want a serious piece, this is the place. Clean, friendly (as much as gruff tattoo artist can be), and fabulous art.
Pros: Clean, great art, funny bathroom
Cons: appointments are weeks out

What a GREAT job! The front desk staff were a customer service PLUS! I have a few tats and have been in my share of shops and by far Th'ink Tank tops them all. Scottie did my ink and I love it. This shop means business. They work on an hourly bases.
