Super dog trainer. Suzy has been an invaluable resource in working with our dog. He used to see a walk in the park as an opportunity to lunge at anything that moved. Walking was an exercise in keeping him away from anything he could lunge at, not fun. He now trots by my side and we love our walks. Working with Suzy has made all the difference in the world.  View Less View More

Best Dog wash and training EVER. I've been going to Heavenly Dog since they opened almost eight years ago. Suzy, the owner, is a very kind, friendly, caring individual that does everything she can to make our experience the best it can be. Buddha hates baths, and he weighs 130 pounds, so when he decides he's not going to get a bath, it takes a few people to get him into the tub. Suzy will come running over with treats, and lend a hand pushing his big butt up the low ramp. The shampoos are all natural, and Buddha comes home smelling and feeling so good!

Five years ago we hired Suzy for obedience training also. She was always on time to our appointments which took place in our home, listened to our needs, watched Buddha in his natural environment and then went to work. When we first got him walking was a chore because he'd drag us down the street! Within one session we were able to walk with our arm sockets securely where they belong! She explained everything to us thoroughly and answered all our questions no matter how silly they were.

We love Heavenly Dog!  View Less

Un-freaking Believable!!!. From the second I walked through the front door and was hit by the CLEAN smell, making me think I was a human spa instead of a dog wash, I knew I found the new dog wash for my best friend, Casey! Normally she hates bath time, but the staff of Heavenly Dog put her at ease with yummy treats while we waited. They took my coat, gave me a chair and a magazine, as well as a list of shampoos to choose from. I chose the light coat brigtening one, even though Casey is brindle, because it's made with lavendar and smells GREAT, along with the cherry conditioner.

We had to wait a bit, but that's to be expected in such a cool place. When a tub freed up, they cleaned it very well, and then assisted me with my less than enthused victim. Being a boxer/Akita mix, Casey is big and threatening looking to some, but the helper (I never got her name), spoke dog, and wasn't afraid of my sweetie. Once up the sturdy ramp and into the tub, we found the water pressure and temperature to be spot on, the shampoo to be full of lather, but also easy to rinse out, and the conditioner to be awesome! So much hair came out in the tub!!!

BUT WAIT! There's more! The chamois they have are incredible! I swear my dog was practically dry from these magic towels, even before we turned the blow dryer on. The blow dryer doesn't get hot, but it blows super hard, blowing all the loose hair out of the dog's coat and all over the shop. And I do mean ALL OVER the shop. I felt terrible but the worker just kept saying, "no, no, that's why you come here!". it takes a while to dry an Akita mix, but it was so worth it! Casey was so soft and fluffy and her coat was super duper shiny!!

By the time I finished with the brushes (they have a slew of them at your disposal), the mess I made was all cleaned up by the girl working. She was smiling, talking, and giving out doggie treats the entire time she was sweeping the globs of hair flying off my dog. I never felt so good about making such a huge mess before in my life.

This place is da bomb!  View Less

GREAT place!. This place is amazing! I've been coming here for seven years, and have never experienced anything but friendly service from the owner and the staff. Suzy has many great tips for dog training, and even gave me a quick free session once - it improved my dog's life immeasurably! There is no better dog wash than Heavenly Dog, no better trainer than Suzy.  View Less View More

Terrible dryers. The place was clean, but the drying area is just a small platform at the base of the tub. The tiny little dryer was useless for drying my long hair dog. After 30 minutes of trying to dry him, I gave up and left with him still wet. You have to reach over the tub area to turn the dryer off or on, and I could barely reach it. Very bad configuration for a self-serve dog wash. I tried them because they were open on Sundays, but I won't be back.  View Less View More

Rude Owner. The owner is very rude! The tubs are OK. However, the drying area is very small. If you have a large dog that requires drying it is very difficult. The drying area is a very small area at the end of the tub. The hair dryer is not very effective. I thought I would try to put the dog on the floor and dry her because I could not dry her back half because of the limited room. The dryer did not have a hose that was long enough to allow her to be on the floor. I would not go back to this dog wash. I have never been treated so rudely by a business owner.  View Less View More

Great place all around. This place is located in a great area, the people who run the joint are fantastic & the owner, Suzy, is amazing at training any dog! I work down the street at Denver Animal Hosp. & refer many clients to her with not one complaint yet!  View Less View More

Helped me with puppy training. I brought Fergie here the other day to try the dog wash and walked out with a training reservation. They took care of everything! I would suggest trying some of the tasty obedience treats.  View Less View More
