Hard bread, bitter wine and awful food

My wife and I are new to the city. Many people recommended the food of the place and everytime we walked by it had a crowd. They seated us in the patio and brought old, hard bread. We ordered wine by the glass. It was very vinegary, couldn't finish it. And finally, the steak stroganoff (supposedly a specialty of the house). The cut was not good. Full of fat and very hard. Bad experience. We are not going back ever again
