Best Cosmetic Dentist In Town
by jazzrach1996
Literally became a member so I could write a review after reading the other one while trying to find Dr. Radz's phone number to book an appt...... I've gone to many dentists and when I wanted to get veneers I did my research and found that he had the best reputation in town. I was not disappointed. He was exceptionally kind and professional. I am a total needle-phobe and he did extra numbing and was gentle. Dr. Radz is a great guy, gave me a great result, and has given a great result to many of my friends. I've been seeing him for Invisalign on my bottom teeth since then and he has been exceptional with that as well. His staff is friendly and doesn't mind when I have to change appointments on the fly due to my work. I seriously can't believe the other review is even about the same guy. I would recommened meeting him before you take that person's experience in to consideration.
- Pros: kind, professional, great result, great staff
- Cons: None I can think of
Unpleasant Experience
by roxannemacauley
I found my experience with Dr. Radz to be awful, unpleasant and painful. I found him to be unprofessional, inept and not a nice person. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I paid $12,000 for 8 porcelain veneers. In the first procedure where he put on the temporaries, after 2 hours I asked him what he was doing next and he snapped at me and said, "just drilling again!" The temporaries were too big for my mouth and I developed a very painful canker sore inside my lip. The receptionist, Andrea was also inept giving me bad advise on 2 occasions causing me unnecessary pain. When I went in 2 weeks later to have the veneers put on the office manager Teri and his assistant Teresa (who I both found to be professional and competent) told me I could bring a friend in for a second opinion so I brought in my friend Jim. After he left, Dr. Radz said to me condescendingly, you brought your friend in! I had a mouthful of novacain and wasn't able to respond. He than said to the other male dentist, maybe we should have her put the veneers on herself. He also had a cold both times. Teresa told me the temporaries were so big and bulky that after they removed them my gums were bleeding very badly while they put on the veneers. After the procedure he abruptly left and had Teresa take care of me. A couple of days later, I tried flossing and realized I couldn't get the floss thru any of the veneers. I talked to another cosmetic dentist and he told me that dr. radz left cement in my veneers which caused my already inflamed gums to be more inflamed. They didn't tell me they left the cement in and didn't tell me to come back in to get it removed. I had to figure it out myself and call for an appointment causing me more unnecessary pain. Two days later after he removed the cement, I developed an infection after flossing and had to get a root canal. I of course went to another dentist becuz I had lost all faith and trust in Dr. Radz.
