Wonderful Ambiance, great food
by n_wilker at Citysearch
Stayed at the Table Mountain Inn and booked their True Romance Package. The rooms were great, view was wonderful, setup for the special package was really nice. The pillows were less than comfortable, and that made things a little less special than we had hoped. The restaurant was great! We had dinner and breakfast. Both meals were great! Dinner I had the pinon crusted chicken with sweet potatoe french fries! Yummy!!! Breakfast I had the salmon cakes benedict! WOW! Really really tastey!
- Pros: Great rooms, nice amenities, friendly
- Cons: bad pillows, restraunt a little loud
Rehearsal Dinner
by jensuch at Citysearch
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here. The special events coordinator was helpful enough, although did make us wait 30--45 minutes for one meeting we had scheduled. The room the dinner was in was nice, since it included a patio area. However, the food was a little below average, especially the vegetarian options.
- Pros: Ambiance
- Cons: Vegetarian food options
Comfortable Southwest Atmosphere with Unique Southwest Food Items
by SportzMom18 at Citysearch
The Table Mountain Inn is a hotel AND a restaurant. While I have never stayed at the hotel, I have eaten in the restaurant on numerous occassions. They feature a unique selection of southwest/mexican items, steaks, seafood & they are one of the few reasonably priced restaurants that offer buffalo items. Their steaks are tender & well-prepared. Their Buffalo Poblano is a unique twist on a chile relleno with a buffalo meatloaf style filling. The portions are average for the price. But, the ambience is perfect for a romantic night out, or to impress a group of visitors. If you are looking for a new, non-chain restaurant experience at the base of the Golden foothills, be sure to give the Table Mountain Inn a try!!
- Pros: Unique food selections that complement their southwestern ambience
- Cons: Average value for the portions
Been there twice, Served wrong food twice.

Two out of two times, party of two ordered and received one plate that was totally incorrect, both times. Service was pleasant. Food wasn't very flavorful. Brunch menu limited. Would not recommend and will not return.
- Pros: Nice relaxing atmosphere. Nice napkins.
- Cons: Incorrect food received, both times visited. Food isn't very tasty.
fradulant charges

We stayed here for a company christmas party and a night away from our 3 children the room was great the stay was great until we got home and received a call from the GM Bob stating that we were horrible people and we trashed his room. When we checked out there was nothing wrong with the room the towels were out of place and the bed wasn't made but they have to change the linens anyway so that doesn't really matter. He accused us of grinding pizza into the carpet throwing pop all over the room, coloring on the walls, and stealing a rug now how I am supposed to get the rug past the survalance cameras and the front desk is beyond me but now he is trying to charge my card an arm and a leg for things that I did not do. My advice to anyone planning on staying here is stay clear of this hotel or if you do stay here have a staff member come to check your room prior to your departure
- Pros: very nice rooms
- Cons: hotel staff and management
A taste of the Southwest in the heart of downtown Golden.

The Scene
The desert flair of this property stands out in Golden, where a banner stretched across Main Street proclaims: "Where the West Lives!" The town is home to the headquarters of the Coors Brewing Company, and the surrounding landscape of rugged buttes and mesas includes North and South Table Mountains, from which the inn takes its name.
The Details
The 74 rooms and suites are decorated with a warm Santa Fe flair--pumpkin-colored walls, New Mexican-style furniture and Southwestern art. Each has a dual-line phone with data ports, cable TV and mini-fridge, as well as the expected basics. Some of the rooms have private patios, while others feature balconies. The suites include indulgences such as fireplaces and jetted tubs. Complimentary coffee is offered in the lobby in the early morning, and room service is available from the Table Mountain Grill. Specialties include roasted chicken enchiladas, chicken and basil chile rellenos, and nearly a dozen different margaritas.
