Great neighborhood secret

by colocub

From reading the other reviews, it is obvious that the cat is out of the bag on this place. I moved to the Baker neighborhood (the area to the west of this restaurant) a few years and have frequented it ever since. It gets busier and busier, but there is seldom a cumbersome wait. I've brought business associates for casual dinners - as well as my parents and close friends. It's been a h1t with EVERYONE I've brought here. The sake selection is very good (try the Momokowa Pearl if you've never had it), but the beer selection is basically only Asian. Come by here and enjoy some of the best Asian fusion, Thai, and Chinese food in the city!

I honestly could go on raving about all the great dishes - but I'm sure you get the picture by now. Try it . . . you won't be disappointed!

  • Pros: My favorite neighborhood place . . . one of the best Asian places in Denver.
  • Cons: The beer selection is subpar for such a great restaurant, but I'm a beer snob.

Great food at great price

by pokerplayer1234

I came here on a Tuesday evening. Metered parking on the street is free after 6pm. The place is simply furnished--it looks more like a deli or a lunch place than a dinner place. But the food--I can't say enough good things about it. I ordered the spicy basil chicken which was fantastic. Portion size is large--you can easily turn the leftovers into a second meal. Service was good but perhaps a little slow in noticing empty drinks. I will definitely come back here.

  • Pros: great food at a great price
  • Cons: ambience is lacking

Best Thai in Denver

by narvik

I went there first when I was in Denver visiting friends and we had been up in the mountains skiing all day. Being very hungery usually makes anything taste good, but I've lived around asia for 3 years and have tried just about everything and this place made enough of an impact for me to remember it 2 years later when I moved to Denver. I've since been back many times and often get takeout. I've had better Thai but this is very, very good! Especially for the price I don't think you can get better food in Denver. The portions are generous and I can usually eat at least 2 times from one order and sometimes enough for a 3rd snack. Highly! recommend it for takeout or after a long day when you are starving, or even taking friends from out of town... the decor is nice and offers something to look at unlike most restaurants.

  • Pros: food, portions, price, ambience, friendly service
  • Cons: fight to find parking during day or early evening

Good food and inexpensive - a place to go again and again and again and...

by desertsailor

Good food for cheap in a relaxed atmosphere! I lean toward the sesame scallops. The portions are very large so we frequently split the platters rather than have everyone order their own. There is outside seating for warmer seasons.

I'm addicted.

by loulerbell

The food is fantastic...the best sesame tofu I have found in Denver. The prices are great and everything I have ever had has been delicious. I take out from there at least once a week.

  • Pros: Great presentation, good prices
  • Cons: Not a very comfortable atmosphere

Great interior, friendly, yummy thai!

by tmidol

Very funky and artistic, yet comfy interior! The outdoor seating is nice too ... you cant miss the bright, chic curtains that separate the dining al fresco from the sidewalk - its really neat. Enjoy it while we still have a little summer left. the food is great - and generous portions. I would say they are my 3rd favorite thai restaurant (but it's a very close race!) My first being Thai Flavor in Aurora and second being Thai Basil in Wash Park. I love getting take out from them too - delivery is always prompt. Service is about not bad.

Wow. Amazed... first time

by diggabyte

I expected the usual asian cuisine delivery-- sub-par food and service. After all, at only $8.95 per entree, I thought it would be just like every other place. Not at all. Excellent food, large portions, speedy service at an afforable price. The meats were tender and cooked to perfection, which is hard to do at 8:30PM on a Monday night (You usually are scraping the barrel at that point) and I would highly recommend it anyone.

  • Pros: Excellent Food, Reasonable Price, Website w/ Menu
  • Cons: None!

Great Food & Prices

by paulindenver

Really wonderful food, selection and, especially, presentation. What a deal if you enjoy LARGE portions of DELICIOUS Asian food. I don't believe there is another restaurant in Denver that presents food in such an artistic manner at these prices! Nice option of indoor or outdoor seating too. Do wish there was more, convenient parking. Go and enjoy.

  • Pros: large portions, delicious food, artistic presentation
