This place was unbelievable. These guys have obviously figured out how to make someone feel special and relaxed. For the entire day I felt like I was the only person that mattered. Each individual I delt with catered to my every whelm. My pedicure and manicure were done in a great setting. My techician was very skilled and made me feel like a queen. Don't miss the opportunity to get one of their body wraps. I'm telling all my friends..Actually, this would be a great place to go with them! Plus they have some great wines to sip. See you there!
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Hmmm..can't think of any

I absolutely loved this small spa. We walked in and were whisked away from there. I thought the massage was one of my top five ever (I think her name was Kim) and overall the experience was lovely. The changing/dressing room, though small, was well equipped. Great shop too as they had an abundance of nice products.

I have enjoyed many massages at the Woodhouse. But, I have to say that everytime I have nail services performed, the experience is poor. The last two times I have visited, the nail tech burnt the tips of my fingers and toes with the nail file. When I brought it to her attention, she offered me a free drink and then poured nail polish remover on it. Which really burns! I mentioned it to the hostess checking me out and got 20% off my bill. I will return the favor and never return.
Pros: Great massages
Cons: Changing rooms and nail service

I think even the most disappointed customer on these critiques can attest to the fantastic atmosphere at Woodhouse. Situated in a charming yet elegant historic victorian that's also well-appointed, you can't help but have lofty expectations - especially when you sit down in one of their wingbacked chairs in front of the fireplace with a cup of tea. Unfortunately that's where my idealic spa visit ended. The swedish massage was enjoyable but pretty average. My bath experience was even more disappointing, as the water in the tub was scalding hot and I wasn't able to sit in the water without burning. To their credit, the staff tried to cool the water down for me as much as they could, but it never adjusted to a comfortable level of heat. So instead, I asked if I could just spend some time in their vischy shower, and they happily accommodated me. It was nice, but again, I had had my mind set on a different type of experience. The staff was friendly enough, the atmosphere - grand, but the services were just not at the level you'd expect with the prices they ask. In conclusion, I'm hoping it was just an off day for me, as I'd like to give them another chance.
Pros: Great atmosphere, nice check-in, well-appointed
Cons: Average massage, scalding bath

Went to Woodhouse to enjoy half day of services with two friends, we had all booked the same package, but I was given a different massage. After therapist admitted to a miscommunication, the front desk had the gall to tell us that we had booked wrong (then why did they confirm TWICE, not sure). Anyway, they kept saying that they took full responsbility, when they were taking NONE AT ALL. I am so disappointed and insulted. I have never written a bad review, but the rudeness and anti-customer service was just too appalling not to share.
Pros: Great Facials
Cons: Rude Customer Service

I had a great massage. However, the service was terrible. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my massage time. I got a complimentary mimosa and sat in the waiting room. My massage was supposed to begin at 9 am, but the technician didn't pick me up until after 9:15. When she did, she told me "I wanted to let you finish your mimosa." I didn't think she would count that against my massage time - but I was wrong. She ended the massage at exactly 10:30 am - even though I had paid for an hour and a half massage. I can't imagine anyone would rather sit in a waiting room and drink a free mimosa instead of getting the full massage they were paying for. I was very disappointed and will not be going back.
Cons: worst spa service

A group of 7 of us visited the Woodhouse Day Spa in Early September 2007. We loved every service! The therapists were all talented and attentive, d้cor was beautiful did not have that franchise feel at all. They gave us great recommendations for our lunch 17th Avenue Grill and that was fabulous as well. I have taken my staff to day spas for the past 6 years and this experience was by far the best! Keep up the great work! Kudos to our great estheticians, massage therapists and nail techs. (My toes STILL have the gorgeous polish on 20 days later awesome) We actually all work together at another day spa (out of town) so we are kinda picky and you all exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure! Thank you for a great day - Janet and Staff.
Pros: Talented Therapists, Easy Booking - Knowledgeable Front Desk, Gorgeous!
Cons: Tricky to find parking from google maps, etc because lot is in back! one way street

I never write reviews, but after several trips to the Woodhouse and my self-proclaimed spa-snob title, I had to comment on what great experiences I've had with the staff of the Woodhouse. I recently spent 3 hours at the spa for my birthday where I was greeted with a cold glass of champagne and a comfy robe. I saw Cynthia for my 90 minute Swedish massage where she incorporated some hot stones for my extra tense spots. That was followed by a 90 minute facial with Monique which left my skin glowing enough that my friends commented even the next day. This was not my first trip to the Woodhouse, but I'm impressed with the consistency of service and effectiveness/expertise of the staff. I recently spent a week at Canyon Ranch in Tucson, and the Woodhouse's services are on par if not better than some of the treatments I received there. And the Woodhouse costs a lot less!
Pros: Skilled and friendly staff, affordable services, open on Sunday
Cons: Ladies locker room can get noisy if people are feeling 'chatty'
