Best Staff and Great Rooms
by aja28
I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the JW Marriott. The staff was always so nice and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Nice bedding. It was great to have the large t.v. and internet access.
Not only was the hotel nice, it was so convenient for enjoying the neighborhood. It's half a block from the mall (even though we didn't go). There are too many shops and restuarants in the area to begin to name. We had the best time looking in unique shops and eating at some great non-chain restuarants and cafes. The neighborhood is charming. We never needed the car. Everything you need including a Whole Foods is within a few blocks.
- Pros: Convenient, great staff, beautiful
WOW - you HAVE to stay here!!!
by DenverDiner09
Wow - what a gem this hotel is. Not sure what the 1 star posters saw, but I experienced none of what they complained about. Have been to this hotel many times, and have yet to have a bad exerience. Everything here is top notch - from the valet staff (overly helpful and friendly) to the front desk clerks (knowledgable about everything in the hotel and the area). The rooms are always clean, and the beds are the best! The free wi-fi in the rooms is a huge bonus - most upscale hotels charge you over $10 per day, and here it's free.
The restaurant (Second Home) is so much better than it used to be when it was (i think) Mirepoix. Better food, nicer decor, overall tons better.
When you come to Denver, and need a great place to stay, go to the JW Marriott!
Oh - and I recently found out they have some great packages - I am surprising my wife with the "shopping package" which includes a shopping gift card to the local neighborhood stores.
- Pros: Everything
- Cons: Nothing
Not that nice, Rude staff
by anonymous120
Staff is not courteous. Extremely slow to checking in. The part I hate the most is the valet. They stand around doing nothing while you are waiting for them to park your car. And if you don't tip them they I get quite rude and emotional. Look, I'm already paying $20 bucks a day for valet service in the room fee. NO I am not going to tip you anything at all, deal with it. The room service staff is also rude. I had the do not disturb sign up since I was sleeping nice. They've knocked on my door about four times "room service, room service." It wasn't even check out time yet, read english. Sign says do not disturb. Good grief what a joke this place is.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Hotel rooms are not nice, Rude staff

Loves it!
Don't be fooled by exterior
by bravokb
This hotel is a GEM! I have stayed at the Teatro in downtown Denver, for much more money, and this place is SO MUCH NICER. Don't be fooled by the drab exterior-the rooms are wonderful--exquisite linens, large TV, wonderful bathroom facilities, and the service--WOW! Within minutes of checking in, they new our names, helped us without being asked, and tended to our every need almost immediately. If you are interested in the Cherry Creek area-I HIGHLY recommend staying ta this hotel.
New favorite hotel!
by cinhat
What an amazing addition to Denver! I stayed downtown my last trip but now with this hotel in Cherry Creek, I have a new favorite hotel. The hotel is beautifully appointed. The guestrooms are amazing (flat screen TV, DVD player, spectacular mountain views and I can't say enough about the bathrooms! The staff was extremely friendly. The staff recognized us the next morning and remembered our names! They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There are so many wonderful shops and restaurants. Everything is at your fingertips. Be sure to request a mountain view guestroom...it is well worth the extra $20.00! Thank you JW Marriott for making our trip to Denver one we will remember.
- Pros: Beautiful hotel, Best Location, Great Staff
- Cons: Only valet parking
Give it a try, if you desperate to be noticed

It is definitely upscale and very Cherry Greekish. I can say that personal is very professional and at the same time friendly.
If you looking to stay in the Sugar Daddy area this is the place, but otherwise I would not recommended. The entire area around trying to hard to be trendy, maybe it works for Denver
Luxury, location and comfort unite in this fashionable Cherry Creek hotel.

In Short
This tastefully appointed hotel fits in nicely with its upscale Cherry Creek North surroundings. Comfortable rooms feature luxurious fabrics, plush carpeting, flat-screen TVs and elegant bathrooms, offering stand-alone glass showers, granite countertops and marble floors. Vibrant John Fielder photographs line the walls outside the second-floor conference facilities and fitness room. A chic restaurant called Mirepoix and a 9,300-square-foot salon and spa also call the hotel home.
