Because I live in Arvada, I usually drive to Denver to find specialty spices. But the growth in Olde Town Arvada has brought a shop devoted to spices to town. The shop is so cozy. Big front windows, with floors that look like they are the original floors. The spices are set up by type, all beautifully displayed. It's just a wonderful shop to browse in. I purchased spices that I use to cook Moroccan food. I am very particular about the quality of the spices I use to cook because it is true that the prepared dish will be only as good as the spices used to flavor it. Once the dish was finished, I knew I had to write. I have always prepared this dish with top quality spices--and this is exactly what we got. Run, don't walk to this shop. The high quality of the spices, the reasonable prices, and the wonderful shopping experience make this the kind of store I didn't think I would ever find in Arvada. The ladies in the store are very knowledgeable, another real plus when you want to try something new!
Pros: Great selection, expert assistance, competitive prices, next to great little sandwich shop and the new Arvada Grill!
