At the time of this writing, Sushi Sasa had been open for 6 weeks (according to our waitress). Sushi Sasa is a very contemporary, sexy restaurant with modern decor. It's very cozy and seemed geared to young couples or groups of adults. I suppose families with children could go, but the ambiance would be wasted on them. I enjoyed the quality and flavor of the food. I'm picky about my sushi rice and the rice was perfect (ie, not dried out or soggy). The fish was fresh and tasty. As for portion sizes, the food couldn't be any more authentic Japanese. The same could be said for the price -- miso soup for $4? If you like Sushi Den, the quality and price of the Sasa's food is similar -- without the horrendous crowd and intolerable wait. I'll go back, but only after I fix the whole in my wallet.
Pros: Good Food, Nice ambiance, Friendly service
Cons: Pricey, Limited Parking
