Arrogant management and staff
by farleyfarles
Bad service. Tried to speak to Brian the manager and he sided with his employees over a situation that was truely their fault and tried to make me feel bad about it? Bad service = no customers. I would rather go to a dive bar where the people are real and not so fake. With the over priced cost of drinks there are plenty of other places to go in denver and not have to worry about making a good time, but instead it is already there! Don't waste your time or money.
- Pros: Alcohol speaks for itself
- Cons: But the staff doesn't speak for the drinks and food
Best in Town!
by vinolino
This place is full of life, class and great service! If you like good vino, bubbles of the best quality and a fantastic mood bar....then look no further.....you are always greeted by the host and owner Brian. His staff is full of life and very well educated on all his products. Pricing is reasonable, you must understand he carries the top products of every catagory....so expect a little cash to be thrown around. GREAT first date place...get there early to get a good seat.....also people get a littlr dressed up when they go there, but if yor in jeans you will not feel out of place.....so try something different and go with style to corridor 44!!! ciao a tutti....
TERRIBLE
by restaurantnobody
I had heard good things about this place from my co-workers downtown, but when my husband and I tried to stop in on a friday night, we were quickly dismissed by the hostess / bouncer. We sat on the patio because it was a warm evening, and were told by the hostess that he would send someone out to see us because it was so crowded indoors. The waitress came out twice to talk to a group of girls on the patio, but completely ignored us each time (nevermind that we were sitting right next to them, obviously without food or drink). We never ended up getting service. I will make sure to recommend to all of my friends and co-workers downtown to never go to this completely overrated place. There are too many other halfway decent places to go.
Love this place

This place is so beautiful! I love to bring friends here! Tons of very unique champagne cocktails (Guiness and Champagne, who knew!) Great for drinks before dinner!
terrible service

A few friends and I wanted to start off our evening here last weekend and were so appalled by the service that we ended up leaving before getting a drink. I have been there before for happy hour after work and enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks very much. I won't go back, however, after being ignored by the waitstaff for over 20 minutes, even after making eye contact with them several times. Hopefully the management will take control of the situation and hire a few experienced, professional servers.
- Pros: beautiful atmosphere, great drink menu
- Cons: unacceptably poor service
Decor to Die For, Food to Agree With
by thafindizzle
Went here a while back on a weekday night. Place was pretty empty but the service was attentive. I agree with previous reviews in that our waitress was very young and didn't provide much guidance for a menu that stands out from the crowd. On the bright side, they have done some amazing things with an unusual piece of real estate. Love the decor, the drinks were great, food was good and certainly not boring, and the waitress was at least very nice if inexperienced. I'll be back. And if you are with a large group on a weekend night and want to feel hollywood, reserve the back room and basque in the champagne selection.
- Pros: Killer Asthetics, Great Drinks
- Cons: Inexperienced Waitstaff
All style and no substance
by foodiefiend
While Corridor 44 certainly has interesting and memorable decor, the food is mediocre at best (and sometimes affirmatively bad). The champagne list is top notch, but similar care was not put into the wine list, which is very weak. The servers look only a few months over twenty-one, so don't expect much guidance with your wine or champagne selection. It caters to the type of Denver clientele that likes to pretend that they are hip urbanites, but are easily fooled by a glamorous space and the pretense of sophistication. If you are legitimately into good food and wine, skip Corridor 44.
- Pros: Nice space, good champagne list
- Cons: So-so food and bad wine list; pretentious
Great ambience

I love the ambience of this place. My girlfriend and I went for drinks on a Saturday early-evening. The place was still fairly empty. We were served by the bartender. He was very nice and the service was quick considering.
Not even 4 stars for Corridor 44
by kristenindenverco
I have been to Corridor 44 a few times. The first time during Denver Restaurant Week, I was pleasantly surprised and vowed to go back. But since then, I have not been as impressed. The service can be rude but the atmosphere is lovely and ethereal. Certain food items can be great such as the olive plate and the ceviche but the main courses are frequently luke warm and lacking in creativity. The champagne selection is fabulous so go there for drinks but skip it for dinner.
- Pros: Champagne, Ambiance
- Cons: Parking, food, service
Bring on the Bubbly
by 5280kitty
I went for the first time last night, and loved it. My Kir Royale was perfect, and the addition of fresh black currents along with a lemon twist made it lovely to look at as well. Our plate of oysters arrived promptly, tasted fresh as an ocean breeze, and came with a zingy lemongrass gelato. Plus the space is simply darling, with crystal chandeliers, white snuggle booths and Dom Perignon's famous quote, "Come quickly, I'm drinking stars!" written on the glass mirror behind the vintage bar.
