This place is and isn’t many things. It is a place for a game or two of bowling with some friends. It isn’t a place for a better bowler, as the lanes are dry as a bone. It is a place where you can be afforded your own personal space, unlike the club scene where you are constantly squeezing through people to reach the bathroom. It is a place where you can get a bite to eat, although it is categorized in my book as glorified bar food. It is not a place you would want to eat if you are looking for a quality meal. It is a place where you can watch the sporting events on the TV’s, whether it is at the bar or the large projection screens they have at the end of the alleys. It is not exactly an ‘intimate’ place to bring a date, as the female wait staff are dressed in a way that they are comparable to Hooter outfits, though more on the Hollywood style than the southern backcountry style, and could distract the eyes of your other, both girl or guy. This place is nestled downtown and correlates with the prices of most other high priced establishments downtown. Bring a credit card if you apt to do some bowling, because it will eat away at the stash of cash you have, including the emergency bill, if you are planning on being there for any amount of time. It is a place you will get service if you choose to sit away from the bar. It is not a place where the service is quick or professional. It is likely you will see the wait staff standing around while your glass is empty. Unfortunately, after being there on several different occasions, I would not opt to return unless it was really desired by another person from the party, or simply an afternoon sports game that was on where the other sports bars may be much to packed to sit at the bar and enjoy a few beers. Sorry, I’d give this 3 ½ stars, but the service was just so horrible.
Pros: TV's at bar and lanes
Cons: poor service, lanes are VERY dry.\

I have been going to Lucky Strike to play pool fairly regularly since it opened. Enough that I suspect they would know immediately who wrote this if they read it. Overall, it's a great place, very clean, not too loud, good atmosphere, affordable pool, and a few good dishes on the menu. Particularly when compared to pool halls, which are usually stinky and filled with skeezy boys staring at chest as you try to play, lucky strike is glorious. That said, nearly every single time we have gone, it takes a completely rediculous amount of time for someone to even come over and bring our drinks. This is a tragedy for pool and bowling, as everyone knows skill increases rapidly with booze consumption. Or perhaps it is a perception of skill! Either way, servers would walk past us, look at us, and simply ignore us for an average of about 30 minutes each visit. Each time, literally each freaking time, we would finally go to the check-in area and ask for some help. When the server finally prances (yes, they prance, like it's a damn runway show) over, they are generally snippy for a while because you complained about them. I hate complaining, so even having to go through that is upsetting to me. I still go because I love the pool and wine, and a few of the male servers are great and have apologized and acknowledged "all the girl servers are horrid, they don't care, and are lazy." But it's to the point where I wonder if they just hate us or something, I can't imagine treating a regular, decent tipping, polite, non-bitchy customer that hates to complain like that.
Pros: Clean, atmosphere, nice pool tables
Cons: Slow service, snobby female servers

We were there a last Friday and were in the middle of our game. And they turned us off because we had ran out of time. Most bowling facilities charge you extra for going over. This one turns you off completely and won't turn you back on. Going to a bowling ally and being rushed doesn't sound like a fun Friday night out on the town to me. Jillians and Brunswick lanes are far better for your bowling pleasure
Pros: Huge Bar
Cons: Horrible Customer Service
