They Reserve the Right to Not Like You

Got 86'ed for life after frequenting this bar for almost 3 years. No verbal sparring. Not once crashed into the band, threw up, spilled a drink, missed the urinal, stiffed a tip or bumped into anyone. Their reason; I stand too close to people. The place was packed and I'm half deaf. This was the sixth time in two years. I've Never been kicked out of Anyplace in my 51 years of existence. (okay, hopefully this review won't disappear. If it does, I just have to cut and paste.)
- Pros: Bands
- Cons: Respect for All customers

A bar wrongfully kicked me out for being

info. A bar wrongfully kicked me out for being "indie" or "gay" as they accused me, and I believe legal action needs to be taken. The manager of the bar at this time has repeatedly called me these names

AMAZING!

Im not sure what these other people are talking about. I visit Baker St. frequently and always have a great time. The happy hour is killer, and the food has always been great. There have been a couple times where my food has come out mis-prepared but every restaurtant/bar has an off day or so. I have always received great service there. The servers are very attentive, and make sure my needs are met. Every time I am there I see a manager going around talking with customers, just stopping by their tables, checking on food, drinks, service, making sure everything is going well. The bouncers are always friendly. The bands are usually pretty good. They have some off bands but for the most part, I could stay there and listen to the bands all night. With the weather getting colder its nice that they have heaters and a huge fireplace outside. And even when its cold outside the waitresses still come out and will take your drink/food orders and make sure you're being taken care of. Overall I would say this place is my favorite bar and I always have an enjoyable time there!
Thank You to the Baker St staff!
- Pros: GREAT HH, Parking is always available, great service
Horrible service!!!!!
by shotz914
This was not our first trip to Baker St., so I should've expected the service I got...but I keep going back for the drink specials. The beer is cheap, they have a great happy hour; however the service last night and every time I've been there has been really bad. Takes forever to place an initial drink order (they didn't stop at the table to greet us for about 10 minutes) and then I'd sit there with an empty pint glass for awhile before being offered another drink. On top of this, my food came out about 15 minutes before the rest of my party's food and it was prepared incorrectly, so I sent it back. It came out again with the rest of the food, but was still wrong (and COLD), so I had to send it back again. Like I said, not sure why I went back after having a few similiar experiences in the past...but this was the last straw. I don't care if they give beer away, I'll go somewhere else in the future.
- Pros: cheap beer during happy hour
- Cons: inattentive servers, bad timing on food preparation
Poor customer service
by underhill66
The food is decent, fried mushrooms rocked but were dropped from the menu. Service is slow and inattenative to downright horrible. Our last trip ever to Baker St, service was non-existent on a night were there was as many staff as patrons and the shift manager walked away from us as we tried to voice our dis-satisfaction with the service. We were eventually comped our meals(that arrived roughly an hour after we walked in) but with an attitude. We will never be back.
- Pros: parking, location, decent menu
- Cons: service, prices
so glad we made the drive out!

we spent last weekend in denver and started it out with happy hour at this pub and boy, were we pleased! good selection of beers on tap and the ambience was cool. the spinach artichoke dip was almost on par with the dip houston's serves and the fish and chips my bf had were perfect! best fish and chips ever. the sirloin cheese and bacon burger i had was yummy, too. we didn't stay for the live band, but heard later they weren't so good anyway. no matter, this place does just fine without them! who else has happy hour from 2 to 9?!
- Pros: diverse menu, cool atmosphere

This place is the new hot spot of the west side of town. In trendy belmar, the happy goes 2-9 everyday and all day Sunday's. Live music wed to sat and some very beautiful woman. Great after work hang out.

We have the best times going to Baker St. Pub. They have a great atmosphere with a friendly staff . Nice outdoor fireplace that overlooks a ice skating rink in the wintertime. They have billards and darts along with my favorite Goldon Tea. Thier happy hour prices can't be beat, even better with Happy Hour times from 2-9 everyday and all day Sunday. They also have a pretty cool Tivia Wednesday with first place winning $100 cash and 2nd place getting a $50 gift certificate. I love the fact that they have a late nite menue that goes on till 2am. Well worth the drive if you don't live close.
- Pros: Live music Wed thru Sunday, Great HH prices and Times, Trivia Wed.
- Cons: none
