Great Music, But Eat and Drink Before You Go There
by kornman
The entertainment was great... good sound for the room... but I am amazed that a venue in LoDo doesn't have any local beers on tap. And... don't eat anything... the nachos were among the worst we've ever tasted.
Daily concerts have made this unpretentious bar a favorite hangout for in-the-know locals.

In Short
This unique bar has become a favorite spot for local music lovers who consider it one of the city's best kept secrets. The bar is casually décorated with original Mexican art and burgundy booths. The daily performances--ranging from rock to reggae--take place on a small stage and attract an eclectic crowd. In addition to good sounds, the bar also offers classic comfort foods, including Philly cheesesteaks and Mexican appetizers.
Only place like it in Denver

Great place to listen to music--fabulous acoustics and perfomers. Great realaxed atmosphere--a place you would love to hang out with friends regularly. Highly recommend it! At last Denver has a music/bar combo that makes you want to come back. Web site has complete performer schedule. Great for planning ahead for when Otis Taylor comes back! Don't miss that!
This is the coolest music venue in Denver!!
by t30
Otis Taylor back on Feb 25th??? He played 2 shows that evening and it was incredible! What other intimate music venue can attract the likes of Otis and Eddie Turner, who I hear is coming on March 25th? I also stopped in on a Friday night to hear live music of Kokopelli's regular band, Tony Black Summit. Lead singer Diana Castro rocked the house! It was a blast! The atmosphere is wonderful and you can tell the crowd that frequents this place are cool and fun because they are in on the secret. This is a must place to hang out and enjoy live music.
Tuesday Reggae Night!
by makena_soleil
I went here on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the house Reggae band, great conversation and food. The staff treats you like they have known you forever. Nice mix of people, including yuppies, Rastafarians, local restaurant workers and business owners. There is nothing like this place anywhere!
