not so great. We've tried Bandana's a few times, and have to admit, the best time was the first time. Every other time has been very disappointing. Between very slow service and mediocre food, we've not been impressed. The meat is dry, and the sauce it just "okay". The fried corn was greasy and chewy. My friend in St Louis recommended this place, but we won't go back. In my opinion, if you want good BBQ in the Denver area, go to Rib City Grille, Big Papa's or Famous Dave's.  View Less View More

If you like authentic BBQ, avoid this!!. As BBQ places go, this is not one of the better ones. The meat is very dry, the sides are small, and the potato salad is uninspired. On top of that, the prices are way out of line with the quality. Expect to spend about $10 for an entree that is worth about $4 in my opinion. If you get the food to go, it will be cold by the time you get home, no doubt about it. If you eat there, you shouldn't expect your traditional dingy bbq pit that we've all grown to love. Rather, it's a stark, clean, very well lit environment that leaves you wondering if they understand the meaning of bbq "pit".

On the plus side, their spicy bbq sauce brings them out of the depths of despair and is about the only redeeming quality that the restaurant has to offer.  View Less

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Dry-rubbed and slow-smoked Southern barbecue pork, beef, chicken, ribs and sausages served with fried corn-on-the-cob, coleslaw and baked beans.  View Less View More

Great food and great service. I first ate at a Bandana's in Missouri so I could not believe my eyes when they opened one in Colorado near me. There is no other barbeque food in Denver that compares and the prices are reasonable. When ordering the beef plate be sure to ask for burn ends as well you will like them. If you do not try Bandan's you have missed out on something special.  View Less View More

Really good Barbecue!. I and my wife were both very favorably impressed with our visit to this restaurant and would recommend it highly. The server was the most pleasing part of my visit. She was friendly and treated me as a valued customer. She went out of her way to make sure my dinner was pleasurable and even brought me a sample of boiled peanuts. The food had an excellent flavor and the meat was tender and juicy. We had not ever heard of this restaurant and so did not have any expectations, but we will recommend it to anyone who likes good BBQ. We would have liked wet wipes at the end of the meal. However, I did think that the paper towel holders were great!  View Less View More

Great Product - Excellent Service!. Good place! I have eaten at their other locations in St. Louis many times, so while I was in CO I had to stop by. Same great service, tastiest pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Try mixing the sweet & smoky sauce with the spicy! YUMMMMMMY!!!! I love this place - Great food, Great Service, Great Prices!!!!!  View Less View More

Best BBQ Chicken, Beef, Pork anywhere this side of St. Louis.. I have tried every item on their menu, best food ever. I usually have just the lunch portion and that is big enough, the dinner platter I have to take some home.  View Less View More
