amazing salon!

I've been going to salon instrukt for quite some time now for both my eyebrows and my hair and I am ALWAYS very pleased with my services and experience at the salon. Jenelise takes such great care of me and my eyebrows always come out looking immaculate! always suiting to my facial features. ;] I've tried a few different people (Dionah & Jennifer) for my highlights and I always leave loving them! no matter what my schedule is I can always get in knowing that Im going to be in good hands. I 100% reccommend salon instrukt!!

Hi! I have been using Jennifer for about a year now and she is great. I always walk away loving what she did. She always makes me look stylish without fuss on my end. The staff is friendly & helpful.

When I tell everyone who has ears to run in the opposite direction of salon insuck and rebuttal to below rebuttal

As I sit here and write this post, I am looking at my dear friend's newly shaved head. Why did she shave her head, you ask? Is she a Sinead O'Conner wannabe? Did she run out of conditioner and times are too tough to spare the cash? Did she decided, finally to be true to herself, come out of the closet, and begin living her life as a man? No. None of these reasons are true. My dear friend shaved her head because a woman named Dionah royally f*cked up her million dollar haircut and her hair was falling out at such a rate, that she absolutely had to shave it all off. Now, it is traumatizing enough to have one's hair slowly and systematically fall of one's head. But, it is even more horrifying to be told that the reason one is going bald is due to "stress or hormones." I bet you are thinking, "well, at they very least, she must have been given her money back." No, Dione and Salon InSuck refused a refund and further refused to acknowledge their responsibility. Make a mistake? Put the relaxer on too long? Fine, own up to it and let's move on.

Now, it is nice for " "5htebazile" [read: Dionah] to come to her defense. But, how do you know that she even gave the offending cut when her name was never even never mentioned in the first review.? My friend chose to not mention her by name because even after all her trauma, she didn't want Dionah to lose clients. I strongly feel that, If someone has a truly horrible experience, and their only recourse it to share their feelings and story on a website, that should be respected. This has been going for months, has cost multiple hundreds of dollars and uncountable tears. This is not just about my friend's hair, but about self-image, respect, and ownership over one's actions. This is her story. She should be allowed to tell it.

Why I recommend Salon Instrukt & rebuttal to African American client's complaint

I have followed Dionah for a few years because she knows African American hair and she communicates well along with being very talented and knowledgeable about the latest products, styles and trends. I am constantly complimented about my hairstyle, cut and color since I no longer braid my hair. I chose to no longer braid because of Dionah, due to the costs and sitting in a chair for 6 to 8 hours. My hair is at the middle of my back and that is pretty exceptional for the dry Colorado climate. I do not have spilt ends and my hair is growing despite flat irons, blowdrying and etc. I enjoy the atmosphere of her current salon because of the multiple services and the scheduler is professional and helpful with getting my questions to Dionah. I read the review from another African American client that was not very nice regarding customer service and Dionah's skills. I have not had that experience even when emergencies have happened when Dionah or I had to reschedule it has been handled expeditious without any cancellation charges. I enjoy the Salon and recommend it to my full range of racial friends male and female.

Very Very Upset: My hair is still falling out!

I thought my experience at Salon Instrukt would be a very positive one after reading all the reviews. I needed a hair relaxer and haircut. I called the salon, stopped by, had a hair consultation, and finally made an appointment after I was told that they would be able to put a relaxer for me. They did tell me this relaxer was different then what I've been use to, but it had been used on African-American hair before and it would work. Great, I was sold. I trusted them because I believed them to be hair professionals. Well unfortunately, I shouldn't have! My hair has been falling out ever since I had the procedure done. It's been two months! I called recently to find out the name of the product because another hair stylist was hesitant to do my hair because it was in such a bad condition and did not want to be liable for the outcome. I'm still waiting on them to return my phone call. I am so so disappointed. This is the most I've ever spent on my hair and it's the worst experience I've eve had. I didn't think I was the type of person to be superficial and care, but I've never had my hair steadily break and fall off my head for two months and still going. I will be telling all my friends about this experience and discouraging them from using the services at Salon Instrukt. I hate this place...and if you know what's good for your hair don't go there!

best hair color!

i made the bad choice of trying to box dye my hair at home! what a disaster! thankfully the staff at salon instrukt is skilled enough to help me fix my mess! it took a couple visits and even after the first one i looked much MUCH better! rena put full hightlights and lowlights in my hair and i LOVE them! i couldn't be any happier with the results! as bad as trying to color my own hair turned out to be, im glad i did otherwise i would not have found this place!!!!

Chic Salon

I recently visited Salon Instukt and had the pleasure of Melissa cutting my hair. I have to say it is the best haircut I have had in years. She is super sweet and helped me decide on a great style to fit my needs. I will definitly be back to see her and highly recommend anyone looking for a fabulous new stylist to go see her. She is awesome!

Awesome hair salon

I have had a variety of different hair styles in the past few years and Melissa has worked them all. I have had short hair and long hair but no matter what style Im sporting Melissa can cut it and cut it well. She cares about how I feel about my hair and gives me great input on what I can do with my hair. Best of all I can trust her opinion. I have always gotten great comments on any style Melissa has given me. The salon is also a great environment with lovely people. I could not recommend a better place in the downtown area.

best hair cut!

I was in last week to get my haircut. I was a little weary at first, but as soon as I got to the salon I was greeted and made comfortable and relaxed! My stylist, Melissa, was just fabulous! She gave me the best cut I have had in years! I am very pleased with the layering and style, I will for sure be back! She really is talented and handled my unruly hair with skilled hands!

great color, great cuts, great extensions!

Dionah gave me the greatest extensions that I've ever had! I love them so much. I really like the Balmain system that she uses. The hair is wonderful and so real looking. Thanks Dionah!
