Ocean has some of the freshest seafood I've ever had in my life and it's in Denver too!!! I was blown away and amazed at the calibur of the fish at Ocean. If you're looking for a provocative dining experience in Denver, Ocean really ought to be high on your list of places to visit.
- Pros: Tasty eats
- Cons: None that I can think of...
Good Place to Eat Til You Have an Issue With The Food

I was in LOVE with Ocean 'til they changed the menu. If it was not broken. why fix it? I was introduced to Ocean by a good friend of mines. I have had good experiences and the BEST food.
They are not to nice if you are not SATISFIED. Last time I was there the food was awful and when we did voice it, we were treated really bad. I think the fact that my teenage children and my god daughter was present was not in there plan. Dont think they liked children dining there. Due to this bad expereince I will never return to my once favorite place to dine.
- Pros: A VERY GOOD STAFF WHO WORK TOGETHER
- Cons: The management was not professional and do not care if you are not happy

Love this place. Have been here several times and am always impressed. Their oysters are to die for. I ordered the trout last time I was there and it was delicious. Try their lobster mac and cheese - you'll be impressed! Enjoy!
- Pros: Great seafood, love the cherry creek location, ambience, service
- Cons: parking can be tough -
Worth it!

I rarely ever write review for these types of sites. However, I am compelled to share a little detail about one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had.
The Mojitos are the best in the city. I think Ocean knows this as they are priced as such. Either way, still worth a try. We started with the surf and turf sushi roll. Again, one of the top five rolls I have had anywhere in the country. The entrees were adequate in size, visually appealing and certainly worth the price.
The atmosphere is engaging and the service was remarkable. We had five different people waiting on us at various times. All of them knew the menu well. We topped it all off with peanut butter cheesecake. I recommed this choice but I also recommend you split this treat with your spouse. It is extremely rich and quite filling despite the small portion size. Perhaps its small for a reason now that i think about it.
Ocean isn't a place to go on a budget. We topped $200 for two people. We did try quite a few items but still pricey in the end. We will definately return to try the many other menu items that made your mouth water just reading about. Give it a try!
- Pros: Just about everything
- Cons: You have to stop eating at some point
The perfect lunch-

We stumbled upon the best surprise the other day shopping in Cherry Creek. It had been a while since we had eaten at Ocean, and had never realized that they were open for lunch. The menu selection was just as unique as their dinner, yet scaled perfect for a mid-day meal! The items were pleasantly affordable and wonderful as always! We were in and out and on our way. I'm sure that we will make it over to this neighborhood more often- especially to sit on that beautiful patio with a cocktail!
Outstanding lounge area - mediocre entrees

If you go to Ocean, don't bother getting a table. instead grab a seat at the bar or on one of the lounges and feast on seared himachi, jalapeno ahi, and funnel down as many fresh-crushed pineapple mojitos as you possibly can! They are incredible!
nice place

My boyfriend and I went to ocean for his birthday and had a wonderful experience. Chaz was our server, he treated us like royalty. We started with the sizzling hamachi and moved on to the halibut and the scallops. Very elegant atmosphere. Some of the best seafood I' ve ever had.
- Pros: service, seafood, atmosphere
- Cons: parking

My clients and I had an outstanding experience on Thursday night at Ocean. The restaurant itself is opulent and beautiful and our server was friendly and professional. We started with a round of cocktails and a few orders of sushi rolls. The surf and turf roll was outstanding, so was my mojito. We went on to enjoy a nice french white wine our server recommended, as well as a couple bottles of Cabarnet. I had a delicious monster of a bone in striploin with grilled asparagus and something they call seafood dynamite. I was blown away. The dessert menu was not accurate as our server had to tell us about changes as we ordered. The restrooms were a lot of fun as well. Super experience! I'll be sure to return with my wife.
- Pros: Atmosphere, food, service
- Cons: dessert menu
TERRIBLE!!!

first off the hostess said 15min wait (usually when quoted a time, you get seated before what they quote), but after 25mins we were still not seat, let alone acknowledged. So, we ended up sitting in the bar area because we did not want to wait anymore. After 10mins of sitting, the waitress does not even come, so I get up and order at the bar. We order simple items, such as fries and crab legs, which can be made quickly. After an hour of waiting, no food, no nothing. Water was not even refilled. We inform the manager, who does NOT even come back to tell us what was going on. We could not handle this anymore and had other engagements and just walked out.
Where to get sea food in the mountains

I don't usually write reviews but I had to after dining at this restaurant and reading some of the asinine reviews.
To start with the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Any question I had the server could answer and I never even had to pour my own wine for refills! Every piece of food I had was delicious and was made better by the fact that the chef had obviously gone out of his way to make every plate look like a work of art. Its one thing to blend tasty flavors in a dish, its quite another to do it in a aesthetically pleasing way. If I had to say one bad thing about the restaurant it would be that its not a quiet place. We were there on a weekend and the dining room was packed and loud. I don't really mind but I could see it being a problem for some older folk. Its definietly a place to be seen (and heard!), so dont make a reservation if you're looking for a low-key, weekend dinner.
As to everyone chiding about the price, all I can say to them is that YOU LIVE HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY FROM THE OCEAN. Have you ever tried to overnight a heavy package? If not give it a try at your local UPS and then think about the cost of sending fresh (or live) fish across the country within a 24 hour period; NOT CHEAP. If you want to eat cheap sea food go to Red Lobster and enjoy the stomach ache in the morning. Otherwise quit bitching, splurge and enjoy something you normally wouldn't without an expensive plane ticket and hotel.
- Pros: Food, service, atmosphere
- Cons: loud
