Fantastic Asian Food and Atmos[here
by frequentdiner2 at Citysearch
Small intimate dining with family atmosphere. Extensive menu or just ask for your favorite and they will cook it up for you. No favorite, just tell Karen to fix for you "Special" and she will please you with a suprise. Prices are very reasonable and I'll be suprised if you don't take home plenty. Restauant has local art on the walls. Then stroll through the Botique and Art Gallery next door. I think the gallery is "Art Nic" and it's all local artists too!
- Pros: Always plenty of parking just steps away from the door
- Cons: You didn't know about it earlier
great organic and unique creative healthy delicious menu selection
by bestfriends14 at Citysearch
I have to say this is the best restaurant in town. I have been coming here for over 12 years. The food is absolutely the best with the best brown nutty rice in town. I was in for dinner last night and found out that the owner, Karen is in Kong Hong for the week to create the holiday menu. I was taken care of by the manager, a young man - named Lee. He was so gracious and offered the same wonderful service that is often associated with this restaurant. The variety of organic tea selection is overwhelming to say the least. We had the Plum Berries tea and it was delicious. I can tell the place is gearing up for the holiday so make your reservation soon. I hope Karen is having a good time in Hong Kong - She deserves it. I can't wait for her holiday menu. One more thing - the organic produce used in preparation of the entrees makes my body scream " thank you."
- Pros: organic, healthy, fast delivery service, catering, tea selection
- Cons: do not accept checks
The best place to be during the holiday
by joejames2008 at Citysearch
We love this place during the holiday season. Last year we were here with a group of 21 and had the most amazing choice of food and service. The decor was amazing with fresh holiday flowers and spectacular lights and decoration. I expect the same this year. I am going to book early because I would hate to miss out or be or a wait list since this place is so popular with catering and holiday parties. The holiday menu is to die for - so creative and most of all - delicious and healthy.
- Pros: Holiday Specials, Great Service, Beautiful Holiday Decor
- Cons: Too Many Parties Reserved

Ok Chinese Take out
by cornpopgirl at Citysearch
Quaint little Chinese restaurant ran by mom and pop. They are very friendly and care about your opinion. Walking in to this place felt like walking into grandma's, especially with the oldies tunes in the background. My lunch order took all of three minutes to be ready. Chicken and Broccoli with Brown rice.
Brown rice appeared to be multigrain, fluffy and unsticky like so many other rices you get from the typical Chinese joint down the street. The egg roll was crisp, flaky, and didn't taste of grease..yet it was very minuscule on filling. Broccoli florets were not bite size, the dish had a nice flavor but was it soaking in butter or oil? The Chickie was in large unchewy pieces. If I can get them to go light on the glop, I'll return..
- Pros: cheap, friendly, brown rice available
- Cons: added fats
Greasy !!!!!!!
by jamierad at Citysearch
This was the greasiest Chinese food I've ever eaten! My friend got the General Tsao's chicken and it was soggy and greasy. Her plate was mostly rice too! I got the Pad Thai noodles and they were soaked in oil - not authentic or tasty at all! The crab wontons were burnt too! The only thing that was decent was the egg drop soup. Would not order for there again!
Best Asian Food in Denver area!
by cotrigirl at Citysearch
The food here is fantastic, and we've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is so friendly, and we love the food. They have the best mu shu pork around! Their food is always fresh, and you get huge portions for the price. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant.
- Pros: Food, price, staff... Our whole family absolutely loves this food. We've traveled quite a bit to Asia, and this is very comprable!
- Cons: none
Asian Cusine with a Heart of Gold
by paulpcdoc at Citysearch
I have sampled Asian Cuisine from all over the world. Not since the Chinese Embassy in Japan, have I ever been so pleased with the results of real Asian Home Cooking. The menu overflows with wonderful dishes from all over the Orient.
One member of my family is hyper sensitive to MSG and that is something you WON'T find here.
In March of this year I was fortunate to survive brain surgery and every time (without fail) I am asked how I am doing with a real sense of concern.
The Vietnamese Rice Vermicelli Bowl and the Spring Mint Rolls are fantastic and the Szechuan Chicken can't be beat. Among other things, Karen whips up a mean Meringue. Everything we have sampled on the menue has been Five Star and then, there is the staff; Five Star with a Heart of Gold.
I rarely recommend a place to eat but the genuine Family care we have received and the plethora of delectable tastes make Jasmine's tops on my list.
Don't miss one of the best kept secrets in the Denver area!
- Pros: Healthy, Natural and Home cooked.
- Cons: A wee bit small but I think "Bigger" could loose some of the high Quality and Family feel.
