I had seen and heard a lot about Toast since I moved here and was so suprised to have a less than impressive experience. First of all, The guy who took our order was clueless. I asked him if I could have the egg dish without meat, since that wasn't a menu option. He said I could get extra fruit, which was great. But when it came, the extra fruit was 1 extra strawberry. But the big deal was he not only took out the meat, he took out the potatoes. I called him over and he said that was the deal, substitute potatoes for fruit and I told him no, the meat. which was obvious because there was NO meat on the plate. Then he told me I couldn't do that! It was soooooo strange and he never made good. So basically I paid $9 for 2 eggs, 2 strawberries and BURNED toast. I thought perhaps they could at least get their namesake right. Terrible customer service and lame food! If I could give it NO stars I would.
Cons: clueless staff, burned "toast" and lousy service
