A basic barely acceptable hotel without many of the basics. This hotel is no longer a Sheraton and it shows. It feels as if nobody cares about the building and nobody cares about the guests. We drove past the hotel and missed it because the signage is small (and makes no mention of Sheraton anymore). We checked in and disocvered that room service was only served 2 hours a day (8am-10am) and there were only 4 items on the menu. When we got to the room, the keys didn't work, one bulb was burned out and they don't provide soap in the bathrooms (?!?). The hotel booklet doesn't mention the pool and gym but we went and found them and they were kind of dirty so maybe they thought better not to mention them. The Do Not Disturb sign wouldn't hang on the door, the lights in the hallway were burnt out and generally it was acceptable but barely- it was missing basic amenities. When we checked out there was a big error on the bill. The guy behind the counter said "Oh yeah, these are always wrong. I'm the only person who works here who cares to get things right." It shows. If the location was better, I'd say they should fix it up but the location is nowhere near anything (except a popular gentlemen's club as we learned from a waiter who couldn't believe we were staying there).
