Had a great experience

Used Fischer Van Lines to help with "the heavy stuff" during my move from an apartment (on the second floor) to a new home. Ron and Erik showed up ready to go. They were both very cool and were never idle. They made sure I understood every aspect of the billing, and there were no surprises. We ended up getting finished very quickly, which was fantastic. Highly recommended. I also recommend you ask Ron to tell you a few jokes.

Fast and great service

I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I was told about the 4% credit card fee upfront. The movers were on time to the minute and finished earlier than my estimate even though I added a few items.

The guys who came to my apartment were friendly and fast. They made the move look easy. This is my 16th move since college, and these movers are the best I’ve worked with. Not only did the walk through my place with me to see what I wanted them to do, they immediately started taking things back to the truck. At one point when I was struggling with several boxes on my personal dolly, one of the movers solved the problem for me.

When they finished unloading, and finished early, they asked what they could do to help on that end. They were not only good employees, they were nice guys.

Complaint About Fischer Van Lines Denver

I AM NOT A COMPETITOR - as Jeff Fischer claims on other review sites. Check other complaints before signing with Fischer Van Lines. There is a 4% up charge to pay by credit card and you may be told AFTER THE TRUCK IS LOADED and at your destination that you must pay in cash to get your belongings back, even though you were told at the beginning you could pay with a credit card after your things were unloaded and you had a chance to inspect them. And if Mr. Fischer doesn't like a review - he claims they are a competitor when they not.

• Cons: Holds belongs hostage, demands cash payment, overcharges

Top notch team that works hard and fast! I had a lot of stuff to move and these guys worked almost non-stop for 10 straight hours.

If you want your furniture moved properly and efficiently, these guys are it.

Thanks again for a job well done.

The only downside is expect to pay a lot more than the quote that you get from John Fischer. The estimate they gave me was off by $500!

Also, don't forget about the cost for tipping the movers.

• Pros: they are just flat out good at moving furniture and heavy appliances. great crew.
• Cons: the quote was not even close to the actual bill at the end.

The three men Fischer Van Lines sent over were very efficient and competent. We had much more to get into the truck than originally thought. The movers were polite and diligent.
