Doggy Heaven

I know I probably spoil my dogs more than most people do their kids, which is a good thing because kids are ungrateful. I'm sort of kidding. Anyway, Dog Savvy is really fantastic. I never knew there was so much to be found for dogs, but these guys have it and probably anything else you might want. I originally went to use the self serve tubs because my guys are huge and shed like crazy, so using my home is definitely not an option. However, I ended up buying them new collars and a funky leash that can only be discribed as high tech. They have more types of treats there than any store including the big ones and the people working there were really fun and quite knowlegable. They also adored my lugs which always wins my heart! Dog Savvy is definitely one of the best supply stores I have visited and the spa is the icing on the cake.

DNC Highlight

One of the most memorable parts of this week's DNC Convention was Dog Savvy in Denver's Larimer Square. They had Bark Obama T-shirts and Bandannas. These things were so fun. OK, so they had McCanine stuff too, but who really cares?

Really great dog store and wonderful customer service.

Fantastic store

I brought my akita to Dog Savvy for a bath and furmination and it was the best he has ever had. Anyone with Akitas know of the shedding basically year round we deal with. He came out clean and looking like he lost about 15 pounds of hair. They did a great job and the price was decent too.

The store is really nice too. They have lots of collars to choose from and a denver bronco jersey big enough to fit Buddy.

My only complaint is the parking. I had to drive around the block twice to find somewhere to park. From now on I will go on Sunday, since parking is free that day. And that's another greatl thing about Dog Savvy, they do grooming on Sunday.

Great find.

I was having dinner at Teds Montana Grill (great restaurant!) when my wife spotted a dog store across the street on Larimer Square. There was no keeping her away, so we went in and found the coolest store for dog stuff ever. I couldn't believe the selection! Luckily, I was holding the credit card because she has been known to go crazy in these types of situations. There was so much unique product that I found myself giving up the card and spoiling our dogs like we never have before. The house dogs kept the kids company and we really had a good time shopping there. They also offer grooming and a blueberry facial, whatever that is!

The owner seemed really informed about pet nutrition and sold us some organic food that the dogs ended up loving.

I very much recommend this place.
