I started coming to "Therese" because my hairstylist started working there. Before that, my stylist, Raisa Zombek, worked at a different salon. I am a fan of Raisa's talent and a faithful customer, so, I followed her to Therese's. I find the area to be very pleasant and somewhat having European flavor. Parking during the day might be hard along the street, but you can always walk 1/4 of a mile if needed in such a nice neighborhood. Salon is small and very cosy - very nicely decorated, with a huge on-the-wall TV, wooden floors and well displayed hair care products. I love Raisa's work as well as her genuinely sweet personality. She is a talented and experienced stylist who actually CARES about her clients and how they feel about the result of her work. She is extremely hardworking and will always spend more time on you to assure that everything looks perfect and that you, as a client, are happy and smiling. She is one of those rare types that LISTENS to your wishes (just say them BEFORE she starts creating :) and your views. Being very nice and professional, she is always ready to recommend what's best for your face and hair type but you NEVER feel pushed into something that you don't want to do. She is always smiling and talking to her cliets - the ones who feel like they want to talk... Raisa has been my favorite for several years. I do not trust my hair to anyone easily. But she absolutely won my business because of her talent, passion for her work, and her charming personality. I feel confident recommending Raisa to everyone because if I liked her (being as demanding and as picky as I am), I can assure you that she is truly great at what she does!!! If you want to have a special stylist who cares and does a super job, then I suggest you call the salon and ask for Raisa Zombek. Pros: excellent results and time happily spent in pleasant atmosphere
Cons: just parking - it can be a bit of a pain during the day :)
