My finacee and I just moved to the Highlands area, and while out walking the dog one afternoon, came across this "HAIRY'S" place, a Laser Clinic & Barbershop. We peeked in the windows, it looked old fashioned, yet modern- and pretty busy. We popped in to grab a flyer, and before you know it they had answered all the questions we could think of about laser hair removal, shaving and even hair in general.. they even gave us some great shaving tips! I felt so confident with this service provider that after returning home and visiting the website (and doing some price/service comparisons), I called to book a laser package - and loved the results! I am excited about my new found smoothness lol, look out France here come the Honey Mooners! ;)

Pros: Small private and personal

Cons: Parking in back of building

I have always considered laser hair removal but nervous because of stories that I've heard, such as it being uncomfortable and painful. However, I did hear it was totally worth. Being a person who has a hard time with pain, I wasnt sure if I would go through with it. I received a gift certiciate and booked my appointment. Not only was i compfortable, but I was very impressed with how professional it was, private, and clean. The machine was new and very quiet. She also applied a numbing cream which really helped. I did my underarms which is a very sensitive area for me, and was shockingly surprised that I barely felt anything. It was better then getting my eyebrows waxed! It took no longer then 10 minutes, it was over before i knew it. I would recommend anyone who is considering lazor hair removal to go to Hairy's.

I went in for a haircut and shave. My girlfriend gave me a gift certificate for my birthday. The haircut was GREAT and the shave and scalp massage were very relaxing. I asked what men would get done if they had a laser treatment and one of the things I was told was the front of the neck to get rid of those ingrown hair bumps. I decided to go back for a treatment and now I wish I had bought a package. I still need some more treatments- but what a great difference! No bumps where the hair is gone!

Pros: Love the services and the changes.

Cons: Had to wait about 10 minutes as a walk in.

I had never been to Hairy's before but had heard so much about it. When I saw it in the Denver Daily, I knew I had to go check it out. I was not sure what to expect when I got there since I had not been there before. When I walked in the first thing i noticed was the decor. It had a nice clean upscale look from the hard wood floors to the big screen tv!!! My barber was a woman if you can believe that . I was surprised that she was able to give me such a clean look and even massaged my scalp!! They are very knowledgeable about hair and the products that worked best for me. My second time there was the same but even better because they were able to explain the laser hair removal that I thought was for women only. ( Who knew ?) It was not bad like I thought it would be and even cut my shaving time in half. Guys, you have to go at least once to try the laser removal. Over all it was a great experience and they are my preferred choice and I am a regular client. How many places do you know have a big screen tv and all the men magazines you can read.. Total man hang out spot.

Pros: Atmosphere,staff,parking,knows what they are doing. big screen tv, all the mags you can read. can i free parking ? They are also open SUPER early on Monday's when everyone else is closed.

Cons: not any i can think of right now.. will repost if any come up..

I went in for my under arm laser treatment and was pleasantly suprised at the warmth and nostalgia of the new establishment. It is set up like an old-fashioned barbershop in the front, with the discreetly tucked away, small but clean and bright laser room. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. My laser tech was nice and concerned for my safety and comfort during the proceedure. I will deffinetly return for more laser services and send my husband in for a haircut! - Peaches
