Meaghan has been cutting my hair for years and she's awesome and always fun to chat with. She gives a great scalp massage and a professional cut. She is the only one that can take some of the gray out of my hair without a perm and in a way that's completely natural looking. Altitude Salon is a cool place with a relaxed casual atmosphere that's fun, has great music (with a great stereo system), and there's plenty of parking space . The salon has a very hip/cool style to it that should appear to both genders; not one of those pink woman's only salons. Definitely two thumbs up for Meaghan and Altitude Salon.

Pros: Great service and cut, pleasent atmosphere, etc. It's great!

I just went to Meaghan for a cut and color and this is the BEST haircut I've ever had!! I showed her a photo of what I wanted and walked out with the exact haircut - how often does that happen? She has been cutting my hair for a few years and I am constantly changing my style but not matter how I want to wear it she does a great job. The proof is that after washing myself it still looks the same and even after 3 weeks it is easy to style with no 'surprises' - a true test of a great haircut. I highly recommend Meaghan to anyone. Her pricing is great as well!

Meaghan has been cutting and coloring my thick short hair for 2 years now and unless she moves far far away, I will never stop trusting her with my hair. From the very first time she worked on my hair, I felt hair confidence exuding from her every pore; which helped me feel immediately relaxed. She just KNOWS hair. Period. She's been doing it for a while now and well, she's very good at what she does. She was able to make sense of what my hair needed and what I wanted to see, even if they were two different things, to find just the right color to not only cover my gray roots, but also highlight my complexion, eyes, face, etc. I've been using various red tones in my hair, and she suggested a blend of red and brown color that fit me perfectly. I even tried low lights for the first time with her and love them! Meaghan is warm and friendly, creative, confident and very aware of what works and what doesn't. If you have ever felt that your stylist/colorist did not understand you or didn't care, please go see Meaghan at Altitude in Wheat Ridge. It's very easy to find, parking is abundant, and you don't have to deal with the downtown drivers/parkers/and annoyances of being in the city. At 40 (having moved many times and colored my hair since age 20); I've finally found the stylist/colorist for me. She is the BEST!

Meghan's new salon is fantastic! She's been my stylist/colorist for two years now and just opened Altitude Salon in January '08. Aside from Meghan's artistic talent, her energy and entheusiasm keep you coming back for more. Meghan has a knack for designing the best hairstyle to compliment your features and lifestyle. Her color skills are top notch, matching the right color and highlights to make your style pop! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Meghan to anyone looking for a stylist they can trust and rely on for excellent service and results.

I was apprehensive about going to a new stylist but knew that I’d needed to. When I first pulled up to the salon, I was not at all impressed. However, when I walked in, I thought I was in another world! The decor is FABULOUS, purple walls, art scattered on walls, comfortable waiting area and I was offered a glass of wine, ROCK ON! Meaghan was nice and approachable. She actually spent time with me to discuss what I didn't like about my "modern mullet fobby (fresh off the boat) hot mess" and what I’d hope to achieve with my stick straight hair. Meaghan worked her magic and through the snipping we kept a friendly conversation. The results: FABULOUSITY! She actually did what I want/envisioned (maybe she's a mind reader). It's been almost 6 years since I've had a great haircut, so this is great! I've been in a funk all week (mostly due to hair trauma), and after a short visit, I’m on cloud 9! I strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great style. She is a true artist. She's also great with Asian hair (very few are) and she even cut my husbands! He looks amazing!

Pros: Great atmosphere, she LISTENS to what I need/want

Cons: It's in a weird shopping plaza (it's hidden)

I have only great things to say about Meaghan. She truly gives great cuts and highlights. I have never before had cuts that look so nice, yet are so easy to style. As a bonus Meaghan is really fun to be around, and the salon is a great space.

Finally, I've found a really great stylist that always gets it right! I'm not good at describing (or even always sure) what I'd like done with my hair and in the past, it's resulted in cuts and color that are less than stellar. When I first started seeing Meaghan, I had super long, all one length hair that was one, too-dark color and didn't flatter me at all. I went to Meaghan and asked for something different without losing too much length. I came out with a fabulous, easy to maintain style that still had lots of length and the best color I could imagine- I've never been happier with my hair. I'm not good about going back as often as I should for maintenance, but my cut and color hold up so well, I can get away with it. Each time I go back, though, my hair looks so great, I feel like a new woman!

Pros: The best stylist/colorist I've found. Meaghan is also genuinely nice and fun to talk to.

Meaghan is fun, smart, and highly talented! She listens closely and makes sure she understands the look you're seeking. She has the knowledge and skill to give you amazing color and a great cut. I've never before found a stylist who gets it right time after time after time. She's also super fast and genuinely considerate.

I had been searching for a stylist for 5 years in Denver when I finally came across Meaghan. I made the mistake of going elsewhere once just out of convenience's sake, and I'll never do it again. Everyone else I've ever been to pales in comparison. She really listens to what you want and does an amazing job. I'm so glad I found her. She's truly talented.

If you are interested in getting amazing color and highlights along with a trendy, fun hairstyle I highly reccomend Meaghan and Altitude Salon. Meaghan is so enthusiastic with every client and she really listens to what you want in a hairstyle and color along with giving great, honest advise on what you need to look your best. Meaghan has been highlighting and cutting my hair for several years and is so talented when it comes to color that I refuse to go else where. I recently relocated out of the state and tried having color done by another stylist and was very dissapointed with the results-now I fly into Denver every couple of months to have my hair done at Altitude Salon and it is the best investment ever!
