Attending the Art Institute of Colorado is definately a decision not to take lightly. I'm a student Industrial Designer aiming for my BA with just 1.5 years remaining and I must be honest; its difficult having to choose work before fun most of the time, but it's full responsibility of your career that begins to grow the second you sign on. If your passionate you have a start, determined and you will see the fruits of your labor, headstrong and you're on the right path towards planning your career. Once you make the decision, do so with your full heart and live your passion.
The school is divided into three buildings and the main campus is in great shape with good computers and many types of software. The building Industrial Design students occupy is somewhat shameful, but it doesn't disarm learning. Plenty of tools available to design and fabricate products.
The Instructors are good, they know a lot of information through experience and/or from their education. Some instructors can respond in a degrading manner; but only to expose a mirror of one's improfessionalism so as to grow from.
- Pros: Wide range of projects, class sizes, some instructors are great
- Cons: Very short working time, facilities need improvement, very expensive education!
